The yield and quality of potato are mainly determined by the variety characteristics,and the soil environment is the main external factor affecting the growth of potato.It can provide scientific basis for high quality,high yield and high efficiency of potato in the north of Shaanxi Province.This study was carried out in the potato planting demonstration park of Yulin Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2017 and 2018.In 2017,10 varieties of Macken No.1,Lvyuan No.1 and Shanbei red were collected.In 2018,14 varieties of black Kong,akeria and Dingshu No.9 were collected.The yield and quality of 24 potato varieties,as well as the physical and chemical properties of the soil in the root layer of potato were measured by the principal component analysis The yield and quality of potato were comprehensively analyzed and ranked by analytical method,and the yield and quality of potato and soil nutrients were analyzed by correlation analysis method.The results are as follows:(1)The order of dominant potato varieties suitable for planting in Northern Shaanxi was proved.Through the principal component analysis,the comprehensive analysis of potatoes in two years was carried out.In 2017,the order of the comprehensive score was Lvyuan 1 > shanbeihong > Lvyuan 3 > Sishu 1 > Lvyuan2 > Macken 1 > yl1106-68 > jizhangshu 8(CK)> Zhongshu 18 > 1106-68.In 2018,the ranking of the comprehensive scores was as follows: Longshu No.6(CK)>Ningshu No.16 > Longshu No.14 > Hesen No.6 > aikeriya > Yushu No.3 > Jishu No.1 > Yushu No.5 > Longshu No.13 > heigang > Sanduo No.15 > Qingshu No.2 >Yushu No.4 > Dingshu No.9.(2)The vertical distribution of soil nutrients in the root layer of different potato varieties in Northern Shaanxi was analyzed.Different potato varieties have different absorption of soil water and nutrients,which leads to certain differences in the content and distribution of soil water and nutrients in the mature period.According to the differences in the content and distribution of soil water and nutrients in the mature period,we can get the absorption of water and nutrients by different potato varieties.In 2017,the comprehensive score of Lvyuan No.1 was the highest,and the soil moisture content decreased significantly in the range of 50-60 cm.Except for the high content of nitrate nitrogen in the lower soil,the other soil nutrient indexes were higher in the upper and middle soil;in 2018,the comprehensive score of Longshu No.6 was the highest,and the soil moisture content decreased significantly in the range of 50-60 cm,except for the high pH in the lower and middle layers,the other nutrient indexes were higher in the upper and middle soil.(3)The relationship between different potato varieties and root soil nutrients was clarified.There was a significant positive correlation between soil available potassium content and potato yield and soluble sugar content,and a significant positive correlation between soil available potassium content and starch content,reducing sugar content,vitamin C content and PPO activity;a significant negative correlation between soil pH value and potato starch content;a significant negative correlation between soil organic matter content and potato soluble sugar content,There was a significant positive correlation between soil conductivity and potato reducing sugar content,vitamin C content.
