As an endemic plant in northern China,Cerasus humilis(Bge.)Sok.with so strong resistance to adapt various site environments which are arid,saline-alkali,frost-cold and others due to its strong root system,and it was listed as an excellent tree species for wind and sand fixation..Cerasus humilis is also a very good ornamental plant whose flowers,leaves and fruits are ornamental and it is a new type of greening plant to decorates the city.During spring to autumn,we can appreciate flowers,fruits and leaves,respectively.The purpose of this test was to screen out the Cerasus humilis which were suitable for popularizing and cultivating in Yinchuan by compared and studied their photosynthetic characteristics and physiological indicators,evaluated their adaptability through the membership function,and rated their values combined with experts,ornamental survey and analytic hierarchy process.The results are as follows:1.Studied the photosynthetic characteristics of Cerasus humilis and analyzed by the membership function evaluation method,we can concluded that the plants with class Ⅰ strong photosynthesis were Jingou No.1,Nongda No.4,Nongda No.7 and Jingou No.2;the plants with class Ⅱ medium photosynthesis were Nongda No.5 and Nongda No.3No.6,Nongda No.6,Yanshan No.1,and Habo No.1;the plants with low-level photosynthesis of grade Ⅲ were Nongda No.9,CK.2.Cerasus humilis was a plant which can largely resist drought,cold and strong adaptability.In this study,physiological indicators such as SOD activity,POD activity,soluble protein content,CAT activity,and MDA content were measured.Combined with photosynthetic characteristics,and comprehensive evaluation used the membership function,the results shows that the more adaptable varieties introduced in Yinchuan were Jingou No.2,Nongda No.4,Nongda No.3,Nongda No.5,Nongda No.6,among which Nongda No.4 and the average membership function of Nongda No.3 was the same;the varieties with medium adaptability were Nongda No.7,Jingou No.1,Yanshan No.1,Habo No.1,and Nongda No.9;the least adaptable was CK.The results showed that Cerasus humilis can grow normally in Yinchuan area,and the adaptability of Cerasus humilis was stronger than that of Cerasus dictyoneura.3.Since Cerasus humilis not only had good adaptability in Northwest China,but also was an excellent ornamental plant which had not been fully developed and used in Yinchuan.This study was the first time to comprehensively evaluate the ornamental research of Cerasus humilis used analytic hierarchy process.It was concluded that Class Ⅰ ornamental varieties include Nongda No.9,Nongda No.6,Nongda No.5,and Yanshan No.1;Class Ⅱ ornamental varieties include Nongda No.7,Nongda No.4,and Nongda No.3;and Class Ⅲ ornamental varieties include Jingou No.1,Habo No.1;Grade Ⅳ was not available,Jingou No.2 was a Grade Ⅴ ornamental variety.Through this method,the ornamental selection of Cerasus humilis in Yinchuan area was provided,and different Cerasus humilis varieties were selected for different ornamental targets.4.Based on the growth characteristics and ornamental characteristics of Cerasus humilis,this studied proposed that Nongda No.4,Nongda No.3,Nongda No.5 and Nongda No.6 all had good cultivation advantages and can give full play to the ecological and ornamental value of Cerasus humili in Yinchuan in a generalized analysis.
