Astudy On The Evolution And Optimization Of Regional Distribution Of Mutton Sheep Production Areas In Shandong Province

Since the reform and opening up,the,mutton sheep industry of Shandong Province has made great progress in the past 40 years.In 2018,the annual slaughtering amount of mutton sheep in Shandong Province was 297.135 million,and the output of mutton was 4.751 million tons.The proportion of annual slaughtering amount in the total national slaughtering amount increased from 4.51% in 1978 to 32.04% in 2018 and the production scale of mutton sheep accounts for an important proportion in the production of mutton sheep in the whole country.On the basis of the existing research results in the literature at home and abroad,the regional evolution of mutton sheep production of Shandong Province is studied in this paper.Through the research on the regional development and evolution trend and characteristics of mutton sheep production of Shandong Province will help to correctly understand the opportunities and risks in the future development of mutton sheep production,and provide an effective basis for Shandong Province and even the formulation of policies on development and planning of mutton sheep industry of Shandong Province and the sustained and healthy development of mutton sheep industry.(1)Through the integration of the statistical yearbook data and the analysis of the general situation and regional layout of mutton sheep production of Shandong Province,it is found that the mutton sheep production in the province is regionalized and characterized by concentrated and continuous distribution.By comparing the mutton sheep production of 17 prefectures and cities in Shandong Province,the mutton sheep production areas are divided into the first,second,third and fourth echelon production areas,and there are significant differences in regional clustering.Under the influence of the accelerated process of urbanization and the rising cost of resources such as labor and land,mutton sheep production areas face the risk of being transferred to remote areas and then being marginalized.The production scale of mutton sheep is shrinking,but the overall mutton sheep production of Shandong Province is on the rise.(2)The evolution process of regional layout of mutton sheep production of Shandong Province is expounded from the change of time and space by using industrial concentration and revealed comparative advantage index.With the development of mutton sheep industry and the passage of time,the main production areas of mutton sheep in Shandong Province have been transferred from traditional sheep raising areas such as Qingdao and Yantai to southern Shandong and western Shandong areas.The spatial clustering situation gets obvious and fluctuates continuously with the passage of time,but the adjustment intensity of the production areas decreases year by year.At the same time,combined with the comparative advantage economic theory and regional layout theory,the factors that affect the regional layout of mutton sheep production of Shandong Province are analyzed in this paper.That is to say,the changes of regional layout of mutton sheep production of Shandong Province are affected by resource endowment,social economy,market environment and other factors.(3)Combined with the analysis of the first two chapters,it is concluded that the production layout of mutton sheep of Shandong Province should be optimized from the aspects of resource endowment,comparative advantage,market economy and production structure and optimization plan of the regional layout of mutton sheep production of Shandong Province is put forward according to the principles so as to provide reference for the formulation of development policy of mutton sheep industry of Shandong Province.(4)The conclusion is summarized and corresponding policies are put forward.The government should make targeted and flexible industrial layout guidance on mutton sheep production and further improve the regional layout of mutton sheep production of Shandong Province.At the same time,targeted policies on mutton sheep industry shall be implemented in areas with production advantages and scientific research support shall be increased to improve the production environment of mutton sheep.How to adjust the production scale and optimize the production pattern of mutton sheep to adapt to the market demand has become an important topic.
