In recent years,with the rapid development of rural areas and the sharp increase of commercial energy consumption,an in-depth understanding of the factors affecting energy consumption can provide important support for energy planning.Existing studies have shown that rural energy use is complex,not only affected by economic,demographic and other factors,but also by the environment and resources.However,most of the relevant studies on the analysis of factors affecting rural energy consumption are based on statistical methods,and it is only possible to determine whether and to what extent a certain factor has an impact on energy consumption from a macro perspective,rather than to identify the factors affecting specific groups.On the basis of the existing results,this study selects three major influencing factors--economy,population and energy structure.Based on the survey data,the combined effects of multiple factors on energy consumption are deeply discussed,and the characteristics of specific groups are clarified.The effects of energy structure and different energy consumption patterns on energy consumption are analyzed quantitatively by typical household energy consumption measurementsIn this study,four areas including Jiulongpo,Wanzhou,Yongchuan and Wulong were selected to carry out field research on household characteristics,energy structure,energy consumption and the use habit of cooling/heating equipment.It shows the household size,population structure,economic level,energy structure and energy consumption,as well as the use habits of cooling and heating equipment in Chongqing.Energy consumption patterns were obtained by two-step clustering.By comparing the characteristics of different patterns,it was found that,in general,the higher the economic level and the larger the population,the greater the energy consumption demand of household commodities.However,the energy structure is also a major cause of the difference.Then,based on the survey data,the decision tree C5.0 algorithm was adopted to further analyze the relationship between energy consumption and influencing factors,and to clarify the combined effect of multiple factors.The results show that the energy structure of commercial has a direct impact on the commercial energy consumption.The average energy consumption of natural gas users,liquefied gas users and non-gas users is 857kgce/a,913 kgce /a and 333 kgce /a,respectively.For natural gas users,the household size is the most important factor.The energy consumption of households with more than 4 people is generally higher than 930 kgce/a.Households with less than 4 people and no elderly consume more if firewood and solar energy are not used.For LPG users,the energy consumption of households with an economic level above medium is higher,and that of households with an economic level below medium but no elderly is also higher.For non-gas users,the energy consumption of households with young people is mostly between 316 and 930 kgce.Finally,according to the analysis results of influencing factors,10 typical families were selected for energy mining,and the influence of energy structure and energy use mode on energy consumption was quantitatively analyzed from four aspects: cooking,domestic hot water,cooling and heating.The average monthly energy consumption of cooking is 21-33 kgce.In terms of domestic hot water consumption,the average monthly energy consumption of the water heater is 24-36 kgce if it is only used for washing,and up to 63 kgce if it is used for housework.In addition,solar water heaters are estimated to be 33% more energy efficient than electric water heaters based on the energy consumption of two typical users.Heating energy consumption largely depends on the choice of equipment.The energy consumption of foot warmer and electric blanket is very low,less than 10kgce/m,and the average monthly energy consumption of heater is about 70-80 kgce.The average monthly energy consumption of air-conditioning in summer is about 50-75 kgce.The energy consumption of heater and air conditioner is related to the energy use mode.Middle-aged people use air conditioners more frequently than the elderly,and families with children use air conditioners more frequently in summer afternoons.
