In this study,the effects of different color film coverages on Photosynthetic Characteristics(chlorophyll content in leaves,diurnal variation of photosynthesis,light response,chlorophyll fluorescence parameters and fast induced fluorescence kinetic curve)and fruit quality(fruit size,single fruit quality,Soluble Sugar,Organic Acid,Sugar-acid Ratio,Protein and Anthocyanin)of blueberry cultivar `Sweetheart' were studied by means of plastic mulching in arch shed with six treatments of white film,green film,red film,yellow film,blue film and purple film.The results are as follows:1.Different color film coverages have an effect on the growth and development of blueberry plants.Colored film treatment can promote the growth and development of blueberry plants.Among them,red film treatment has the greatest promotion effect on the growth of Blueberry.Under the green film,it is beneficial to increase the new length and leaf area of blueberry.Blue film increases the leaf thickness of blueberry,and green,yellow,and purple films reduce the thickness of the blueberry leaves.2.Different color film coverages have an effect on the photosynthetic characteristics of blueberry.The chlorophyll content of blueberry leaves under green film,blue film and purple film was significantly higher than that of the control.The net photosynthetic rate of blueberry leaves under red,blue and white film treatment was at a high level during the day.Blueberry leaves treated by blue film had the highest light saturation point and maximum net photosynthetic rate.Under the colored films,the light compensation point and respiratory rate of the blueberry leaves were lower than the control.The red,yellow and green films had a certain inhibitory effect on photosynthesis of blueberry;however,the red and green films helped to enhance the adaptability of blueberry to low light.The unit reaction center(RC)of the green film treated photosystem ?(PSII)had the strongest ability to absorb,capture,transfer electrons and heat dissipate,and was significantly higher than the control treatment,and the blue film treatment was the lowest.The number of reaction centers per unit area of blue-treated blueberry leaves was significantly higher than other treatments.3.Different color film coverages have an effect on the quality of blueberry fruits.The soluble sugar content of the blueberry fruit under the treatment of red film,blue film and purple film increased,and the green film reduced the soluble sugar content.Green film and purple film could increase the organic acid content of the blueberry fruit,and the blue and yellow films were reduced in organic acid content.Red,yellow and blue films significantly increased the ratio of sugar to acid in the blueberry fruit,and the ratio of sugar to acid in the green and purple films decreased.Green film,red film and blue film caused an increase in protein content,which decreased under yellow and purple films.Purple and blue films can promote the synthesis of anthocyanins in blueberry fruit,and green,red and yellow films reduce anthocyanin content.Combining the results of all experiments,blue film can promote the photosynthesis of blueberry.In the production,the photosynthetic efficiency of blueberry can be maximized by covering the blue film or supplementing blue light.
