Abstract/Summary:
With the progress of sheep raising technology,the lambing quantity of modern sheep farms has greatly increased(even five lambs can be born in one litter),and the ewe’s own milk quantity is often not enough to meet the demand.Also some postpartum ewes do not like to suckle their babies,which requires artificial feeding of the lamb.Not only it is with a heavy workload and low efficiency,but also not able to ensure the appropriate temperature of milk and feeding quantity.This kind of circumstance is easy bring about lamb malnutrition or the phenomenon of superfluous nutrition,causing the lamb intestines and stomach disease,and bad effect on the lambs’ growth,or even death.Therefore,it is very important to design and research an automatic feeding device for lambs.Aiming at the problems of lamb breeding in large-scale farms,in this thesis,an automatic feeding device for lambs was designed and studied.The device has the functions of heating,stirring,cleaning,sterilizing and controlling the temperature of the milk.In addition,the device realized the identification of lamb’s identity,setting and monitoring the fed amount of lambs,such as the fed amount in a certain period,the total fed amount,the current fed amount and the rest fed amount in real time,so as to effectively avoid all kinds of problems caused by diet during the growth of lambs.The experimental results showed that this device can monitor and control the feeding of lambs in real time,realized the precise feeding and achieved the expected design purpose.
