Facilities agriculture is being developed rapidly from 1980s. Greenhouse is the one of the typical representations. But on the whole the level of monitoring and controlling system can not satisfy our country's demanding, because of many problems such as cost and efficiency, those systems imported from abroad can not suit the situation of our country.The project based on the situation that now the level of monitoring and controlling system is very poor in our country, and the condition that the large planted area, the poor management, the poor monitoring and controlling ability, the low level of science and technology, aimed to research a kind of practical and economical intelligent monitoring & controlling system of greenhouse.The thesis puts emphasis on the system principle, tells the influence of temperature, humidity, light intensity and so on in details. The whole design plan is offered. The system consists of PC and multimicrocontroller that is a subordinate and distributed system. PC mainly performs following functions: parameter setting, data processing, etc. The microcontroller should accomplish all the missions of real-time control on greenhouse environment, such as data gathering, and transmitting.Data transmitting between upper and lower computers are realized by serial communication, which is designed and researched as the emphasis in this thesis. The serial communication interface applying RS-232-C interface standard, MAXIM corporation's MAX232C, and the baud rate is 2400Hz, the measuring datas are transmitted by the method of asynchronous serial communication.The system software is designed by assembly language, in order to make the program designed and modified easily, the system selects module frame and...
