Forest seedlings are the basic production materials in forestry construction,and the cultivation of improved seedlings is an important basis for enhancing the quality of afforestation to ensure the yield and quality of seedlings,accelerating the growth of forest resources,and promoting the sustainable development of forestry.Nowadays,there is no scientific and rational research on the theory and technology of the forest seed plantation base,and a complete construction system has not been formed.There is no long-term strategic planning,which affects the construction level of the seedling base and the healthy development of the thoroughbred business.This article through the study of the Theory and Technology of the Base Planning of Improved Forest Seedlings,in view of the problems existing in the planning and design of modern forest seed bases,this study adopts literature research method,combining with the project of the construction of the high-quality demonstration base of the Xanthoceras sorbifolium of the State Forestry Administration,the following research results are obtained:(1)Through a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of the forest seed base,it is concluded that the development of the planning requires the combination of theoretical knowledge of forestry,ecology,landscape aesthetics,and agricultural economics.Among them,the basic theory of forestry involves knowledge of breeding and production of improved varieties of forest trees,collection and storage of improved varieties,cultivation of seedlings,and construction techniques of seed collection forests.This is the basis for the planning and design of thoroughbred bases;ecology involves the relationship between plants and the natural environment.It is the necessary theoretical knowledge to select suitable breeding areas for trees to be cultivated and the best base construction sites;Landscape planning using a combination of artistic and scientific nature in the full use of geographical advantages of existing seed bases and existing natural resources Need to be familiar with landscape aesthetics theory;apply agricultural economics theory to consider whether the supply and demand of improved varieties of forest trees can produce enough economic benefits and value after completion,analyze the current and future development trends of the industries to be operated,and achieve operating income.Maximizing is the guarantee of whether or not the base construction plan for improved seedlings is feasible and can be implemented.(2)The planned technological approaches for improved seed bases include work preparation,site selection and early-stage data collection,mapping and standard land surveys,evaluation of the project's natural conditions and operating conditions,determination of planning objectives,clear planning guidelines and principles,and development of feasibility reports;General layout planning and zoning design,including basic area planning,single project design for production area,single project design for auxiliary area,and planning and designing plan for preparing the base;planning and design of process technology for the improved forest seed base;construction budget estimation and benefit evaluation;base planning and design plan,etc.(3)In the overall planning and layout of the forestry seed breeding base,it is necessary to first consider the breeding methods and overall functional requirements of the cultivated species,and use this as a basis for planning to determine the type and functional zoning of the base.The layout should meet the production needs of fine varieties,and consider the landscape effect so as to achieve the purpose of tourism for tourists.The overall planning and design of the Liangmu Seed Breeding Base is divided into two parts:the production area project planning and the auxiliary area project planning and design.(4)The results of thoroughbred base planning are embodied in textual achievements,graphic documents,and form files.Text files generally require the preparation of project proposals,feasibility study reports,planning and design documents,technology contracts,management,and technical reports.The results of the drawings include the analysis of the status quo.Maps,master plans,functional maps,clone configuration plans,nursery planting plans,road plans,irrigation system plans,etc.;form file results include standard sample survey forms,excellent tree registration forms,gifted trees,and clone numbers Tables,investment estimates,etc.(5)Through the investigation and research on the status of the high-tech demonstration bases of the Xanthoceras sorbifolia fruition and the confirmation of the objective of the project,the project plans to establish a high-standard model of the Xanthoceras sorbifolia demonstration forest,the seed collection mother tree,the seed seed orchard,the elite clone seed orchard,the germplasm collection nursery,and the ear Nursery,test measurement area and integrated management area 8 sections.There are 240,000 strains of Xanthoceras sorbifolia.The main economic products are seeds,followed by fruit shells,flowering branches and leaves.Each year,the base can provide Chaoyang City and its neighboring counties with a large number of new high-quality products,which meet the company's domestic demand and reserve crude oil,contributing to the standardization of improved base construction,ecological environment improvement,and scientific advancement of forestry in the region.
