Study On Introduction,Propagation And Cultivation Of Xanthoceras Sorbifolium

Xanthoceras sorbifolium is a unique medicinal plant and rare woody oil in northern China,which has advantages of ornamental and strong resistance etc.Nowadays in practise Xanthoceras sorbifolium is mainly based on seed reproduction with the problems of low germination rate and irregular emergence.The survival rate of seedlings transplant of Xanthoceras sorbifolium is low giving serious impact to the production of Xanthoceras fruit.Therefore,the in-depth study of propagation and cultivation of Xanthoceras sorbifolium is conducive to the development and utilization of germplasm resources.The main results are as follows:When we processing the seeds with the methods of sand storage,fast germinating,dry storage and seed grading,it shows that seeds larger than 10mm in diameter is the highest in seed germination rate and germination rate both in garden seeds and wild seeds.The germination rate of sand storage was the highest,while the seed treatment had little effect on the germination rate.To investigate the effect of different soil,sowing depth and sowing density on the germination rate on the three breeding bases.The analysis results show that the highest germination rate when sowing depth of 4～5cm in Kunhou Research Center is 89.67%.Kunhou research center near the river is sandy loam while the other two are brown soil and clay.Under the condition of larger soil sand,suitable deep sowing should be conducted,and the optimum sowing depth is 4～5cm.Under the condition of more sticky soil,proper sowing should be conducted,and the optimum sowing depth is 3～4cm.Seedling density of Xanthoceras sorbifolium is best to take 30*15cm and 40*10cm two breeding methods.To investigate the effects of transplanting time on the survival rate of seedlings.It is easier to get a higher survival rate in early spring.When doing the transplanting in autumn,it should be finished before freeze.The survival rate on November 20th was 81.7%.In spring,it should be be started after the thaw and the earlier the more survival.The survival rate on February 20th was 96%.To investigate the watering time in different soils have different effects on the sandy soil of Xanthoceras sorbifolium planting,the best watering time is in the 15 to 20 days after planting in sand soil while in clay land it is about 25 days after,the survival rate of early and late time watering will reduce the production.
