In recent years,attention has been paid to welfare and precision farming at home and abroad.Rough and simple farming methods in traditional aquaculture cannot monitor the physiological status of farmed animals timely,and usually cannot collect accurate individual records data.Aiming at this problem,this thesis takes the captive hens as the research object.This paper develops a small wearable parameter parameter sensing device,and uses the wireless sensor network(WSN)technology to build a data transmission network to transmit data and develop data.The monitoring platform software dynamically displays the data and provides a scientific basis for decision making in the breeding process by analyzing the data.This topic is based on the national key research and development plan "Fowl(Chicken)Physiological Perception Core Platform and Sensor Research(2016YFD0700202)",and a series of problems in monitoring the body temperature and activity of laying hens in the breeding process.The research contents are as follows:(1)According to the particularity of the body shape of the laying hen,the shape,size,weight and wearing method of the terminal node used for information collection were designed.The data processing chip,temperature sensor and acceleration sensor used by the terminal node were selected and tested.Determine the hardware solution of the monitoring system.(2)Compare and analyze the various protocols in the existing communication technology,and combine the specific scenarios of the farm and the specific use requirements in the monitoring process to determine the ZigBee protocol based on 2.4G technology as the whole wireless transmission network.The communication protocol is designed for the specific circuit of the terminal node,the cluster head node and the coordinator node in the wireless sensor network for the selected protocol.(3)Design the sensor information collection process using C language,and develop the Z-stack protocol stack in IAR to realize wireless transmission of the collected data.Using C language,the development software of Qt is used to develop the monitoring software.The main interface of Qt Widgets development monitoring software is used,QSql is used for database access,and Qt charts are used to draw data.(4)Using the system designed in this paper,the sensor nodes are worn on different parts of the laying hen for body temperature and activity testing.The test results show that the body surface temperature in the hairless area under the wing of the laying hen is closest to the true body temperature of the laying hen 40-42 ° C;when the acceleration sensor is placed flat on the back of the laying hen,the acceleration change during the activity of the laying hen can be accurately measured.It is less irritating to laying hens.(5)Five laying hens were tested by the designed body temperature and activity sensing system.The results showed that the body temperature of the laying hens in healthy state was 41±1°C,and the X,Y and Z tri-axial accelerations within 24 hours.The mean value fluctuates within the range of 1.2±0.5g;when the laying hen is in a disease state,there will be a sudden increase in a short period of time,up to a limit state of 43°C,and secondly,the activity of the layer in the pathological state is reduced.Except for occasional short-lived movements and convulsions,it is almost at rest.The results show that the system designed for the identification of the health of laying hens is feasible.
