| China is the largest pork producer and consumer country in the world,Pig’s healthily breeding is related to meat safety and consumer health and animal husbandry economic development.The sow’s production management is an important link of pig farming,sow’s health is not only related to reproductive rate and productivity,but also piglets’born and health.In recent years,with the scale, intensive aquaculture development and human resource shortage,the breeding density of sow is high but the welfare is poor.Judging the health information of sow depends on continuous observation of feeder in traditional cultivation.It gets human heavy burden with subjectivity and low accuracy.The failure of sow not receiving timely treatment of illness frequently leads to major epidemics.So real-time accurately monitoring of sows signs and quickly discovering and curing the illness has great significance in enhancing the health of sows and increasing the degree of breeding automation.Wireless sensor network is widely used in the field of animal husbandry due to its small size,low cost,and it is easy to detect a wide variety of sensor information. According to the actual demand in scale farming production,this paper designed a sow signs monitoring system based on wireless sensor network,which can provide data to establish a healthy model of sow and analyze temperature variation of childbirth and estrus process.The main contents include:(1)The hardware and software of sensor nodes is studied with the core of CC2430,achieving to automatically collect the information of sow body temperature,air temperature and humidity,and send data through a wireless RF module.(2)The hardware and software of gateway nodes is studied with the core of LPC1114 and CC2430,achieving to collect the data from sensor nodes and convert network protocol,and send data to the local serve through ethernet.(3)A sow information integrated query mobile terminal is studied based on Android operating system,which can make it convenient for breeders to query information.(4)The sow buttock is selected as the best measurement site using the Fluke TiRl infrared. The abnormal data is processed with distribution method. The measurement results is compensated and corrected.The test is carried on in pig farm of Hejiajisheng Farming Development Co., Ltd(the test pig farm of Nanjing Agricultural University,the teaching and research practice base of Nanjing Agricultural University).The landrace which currently has large-scale of farming is selected as subject.The result shows,the effective communication distance of sensor node and gateway node is thirty meters.The accuracy of the temperature of sow buttock which is after compensated and corrected is ±0.55℃.It basically meets the actual requirements,and provides technical support for large-scale scientific breeding of sows. |
