Study On The Choice Of Peasant Household’s Farmland Protection Compensation And Its Influencing Factors

Farmland is the foundation of food security and a valuable asset of human society,which is related to a country’s food security,social stability and ecological civilization.The protection of cultivated land is the top priority of China’s current and future national economic and social development.The main body of farmland development right in China is not clearly defined,the rural collective economic organization and the peasant household have assumed the responsibility of protecting farmland but have not received corresponding compensation,the lack of incentive mechanism of farmland protection causes the main interests of farmland protection to be damaged,and the implementation effect of farmland protection is relatively poor.Therefore,how to strengthen the protection of cultivated land,establish a reasonable compensation mechanism for cultivated land protection,and meet the interest demands of different farmers for farmland protection compensation is an important topic in today’s academic research field.Based on the theory and practice of cultivated land protection compensation,compensation of the will of influence factors and the peasant household model of these three aspects,such as researches on the measure,on the basis of literature review,theoretical analysis was carried out on the farmers of arable land protection compensation mode selection,sustainable livelihood capital introducing farmers build farmers cultivated land protection compensation mode choice theory model.On this basis,taking Zhejiang province as an example,through interviews with farmers and relevant experts,a questionnaire on the selection of farmers’ farmland protection compensation method and the influencing factors with higher reliability and validity was designed.After that,the Logistic regression model was used to conduct a quantitative study on the influencing factors of farmers’ choice of farmland protection compensation method,and a comparative analysis of the selection results of farmers in different regions(suburbs and exurbs)was conducted to determine the main factors influencing farmers’ choice of farmland protection compensation method.Finally,according to the conclusion,the policies and measures of perfecting the compensation mechanism of farmland protection are put forward.The research conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Farmers tend to choose the convenient and rapid monetary compensation and social insurance compensation with security function.The proportion of rural households was 56.8%,and the choice of monetary compensation method for rural rural households increased by 35.9% compared with that for rural rural households,accounting for 92.7%.In addition,there was no significant difference in the results of rural and suburban farmers’ choice of social insurance compensation,accounting for 44.1% and 47.7%,respectively.(2)Land use condition compensation and living condition compensation methods are gradually accepted by farmers.In terms of the compensation for farmland utilization conditions,the proportion of rural households is 43.2% and that of rural households is 43.6%.Compared with the rural households,the rural households in the outer suburbs have a slightly higher proportion of the compensation for the choice of living conditions,with 37.3% in the outer suburbs and 44% in the outer suburbs.(3)In terms of the choice response of influencing factors and compensation methods,there are significant differences in the main factors influencing the choice of farmers’ monetary compensation methods in the suburbs and exurbs.The influence factors of the choice of social insurance compensation mode are similar.In addition,the education level of rural households has an impact on the compensation mode of cultivated land use and living conditions.The attention to farmland quality and the attention to landscape design of rural households also have an impact on the choice of the compensation mode of farmland utilization and living conditions.(4)There is a significant difference in the choice of compensation method between rural households and rural households.When constructing the compensation mechanism for farmland protection,the location difference should be fully taken into account and the compensation should be made according to local conditions in different regions and different levels of economic development.The factors such as age difference and the needs of farmers in different groups were measured,and relevant policies were formulated for different people.In addition,based on the implementation of local rural policies,compensation methods are designed for farmers’ real interest demands.
