Biochar is a product of pyrolysis of biomass under hypoxia and relatively “lower”(<700°C)temperatures.Because of its good physicochemical properties,it is of great significance to soil improvement and crop yield improvement. As one of the important elements for the growth and development of rice, prime has important implications for rice yield and rice quality. In this study, two consecutive years of field experiments were conducted to analyze the effects of different nitrogen rates and biochar application rates on soil and rice growth, yield, and quality. The experiment included three different nitrogen application rates(1.2.3)and three different biochar application rates(1.2.3).The test cultivar was selected as glutinous super rice Shennong 265.The main results of the study were as follows:1.The results of the interaction between biochar and nitrogen fertilizer on rice growth and development showed that the application of nitrogen fertilizer can accelerate the growth of rice leaf age,but the late nitrogen fertilizer application can still make up,because the total leaf age is related to rice varieties.Application of nitrogen fertilizer can significantly increase the number of tillers in rice and raise the plant height of rice.Compared with non-fertilizer treatment, the difference is extremely significant. The same application of biochar can also increase the number of rice tillers and increase rice plant height, but the overall difference is not significant.SPAD(chlorophyll content)is one of the important indexes of photosynthetic rate of rice. After 7 days of nitrogen fertilizer application, the SPAD value of rice has increased significantly. This indicates that the amount of nitrogen applied is the main factor affecting rice SPAD,and the effect of different amount of carbon applied on SPAD.Not obvious.2.The interaction between biochar and nitrogen fertilizer on the soil physicochemical properties and rice roots showed that whether the application of nitrogen fertilizer or not, soil biochar application can reduce the soil bulk density, increase soil total porosity and soil pH trends;root growth by nitrogen fertilizer and biological With the dual effects of carbon, the total volume of roots was greatly influenced by nitrogen.Compared with fertilization, the total root volume at the jointing stage increased by 56.4% and the maturation period increased by 86.7%.Therefore,it can be said that as the nitrogen application rate increases, the biomass increases. The application of charcoal mainly affected the length of rice roots, and the amount of high carbon applied at the same level with no nitrogen application was 31.4% higher than that of the control at the jointing stage and 11.3% at the maturity stage.3.The effect of interaction between biochar and nitrogen fertilizer on rice yield and quality of rice The results showed that under the condition of applying nitrogen fertilizer, the effective panicle number and grain number per panicle of rice can increase significantly, and increase with the increase of nitrogen application rate in a certain range. At the same level of nitrogen application, the increase of biochar can have a certain impact on the yield, but the effect is not significant.Appropriate biochar and nitrogen fertilizers can effectively improve the quality of rice in rice.In terms of rice quality, the correlations between protein content and protein components and taste value of rice have increased with the increase of nitrogen application rate under nitrogen fertilizer application conditions.the trend of.
