Canine renal failure is a pathological condition of the partial or total loss of renal in dogs,divided into acute renal failure and chronic one,becoming a common and frequently disease in older dogs.To outline the pathogenesis and treatment of canine kidney failure in Huaihua area,the following research was carried out:1.The clinical investigation,clinical manifestation,blood test and partial urine,photographic examination results and treatment were analyzed statistically in 16 cases of canine renal failure admitted to animal hospital of Huaihua Vocational and Technical College from 2013.The results show:Suffering from dogs are vomiting,diarrhea,anuria and oliguria symptoms;The number of white blood ce lls and creatinine are higher,with the blood and blood biochemical tests.2.A total of 72 patients with complete renal disease records were collected from the part of pet hospitals in Huaihua area during the 2014-2016,and the relationship between the incidence and variety,gender,age and time of onset was analysed.The results show:the incidence rate of male dogs is 62.5%,higher than the female dogs;Most of the dogs' breeds are Poodle,Pomeranian,their mobidit y are 18.06%,15.28%;The average age of renal failure dogs is more than 6 years old;September to November is the onset time of canine renal failure;The share of dogs which fed with home-made food is 77.78%,higher than that fed with dog food;Suffering from dogs often accompanied by other complications;Early onset of dog suffering the best cure.Based on the above clinical investigation,the date also suggest that strengthening management of living and diet of the domestic dogs will be helpful toreduce or even eliminate Canine renal failure in Huaihua area.
