Multi-layered stereo-cultivation with the advantage of improving space utilization and increasing the yield per unit area,has been widely used in the cultivation of strawberries and green leafy vegetables.However,the uneven distribution of light and temperature resulted from improper multi-layered stereo-cultivation patterns and layer spacing may occur between shelves,which will generate differences in growth among different individuals within the group,even affect the yield,quality and harvest time of crop.In order to research the effect of different layer spacing on the growth,yield and fruit quality,the test used tomato ‘Fendu53' as test material and used nutrient film technique(NFT)with double-layered shelf,which sat 80 cm,110cm,and 140 cm spacing.It was conducted under the conditions of solar greenhouses in the Central Plains.Related measurement indicators are as follows:the changes in light and temperature,the morphological and yield,the nutrient compositions of tomato fruits with different treatments.The results show that:1.1.There is no significant difference in the daily average light intensity,the effective accumulated temperature between the upper layers and the effective accumulated temperature between the lower layers of different treatments.However,there is a significant difference in the daily average light intensity between the lower layers of different treatments before the middle of April.Besides,the larger the distance,the better the light conditions in the lower layer.What's more,the upper layer effective temperature and the daily average light intensity of the same treatment are significantly higher than the lower layer.2.The difference of flowering time between the upper and lower layers in the same order of tomato with different treatments was less than one day.The flowering time of the upper tomato in the same treatment was obviously earlier than that of the lower layer.The first inflorescence was two days earlier than the lower one;besides,the second,third and fourth inflorescence was four days earlier than the lower one.3.There were no significant differences in plant height,stem diameter,number of leaves,average leaf area per plant,chlorophyll content,net photosynthetic rate,dry and fresh weight of shoots and roots of upper layer's tomato and the average leaf area of single plant among lower tomato with different treatments.The plant height decreased with the increase of layer spacing,and the other observations was on the contrary.The tomato's plant heights of treatment A and B in the lower layer had a “spindling” phenomenon,further more there was no significant difference in the plant height between the upper and lower layer of the treatment C.4.There were no significant differences in single plant fruit number,average fruit weight,excellent fruit rate,and yield per plant between different treatments.The observations among the lower layers increased with the increase of layer spacing.The single plant fruit number,average fruit weight,excellent fruit rate and yield of the upper tomato in the same treatment were significantly higher than those in the lower layer.The tomato yield per unit area in the lower layer of treated C was respectively 46.5% and 9.5% higher than that of treatment A and B lower.5.The soluble sugar content,organic acid content,VC content,soluble protein content and lycopene content of tomato had no significant difference among the upper layers of different treatments.The soluble sugar content and VC content of tomato fruit in the lower layers were increased with the increase of layer spacing,and the remaining observations were not significantly different.The soluble sugar content,VC content and soluble protein content of tomato fruit in the upper layer were all significantly higher than those in the lower layer,and the quality of tomato fruit in the upper layer was better.Based on the yield,quality and other factors of tomato,it is recommended that treatment C(Layer spacing 140cm)is more suitable for the layer spacing of the two-dimensional three-dimensional cultivation shelves of tomato in solar greenhouse.
