Socialized Services,Resource Endowments And Farmers' Forestry Production Investment Behaviors

Based on a series of policy economic and environment changes,such as institutional reform,property rights incentive and the demise of "demographic dividend",this paper leads to the discussion on the change trend and influence mechanism of farmers' forestry production investment behaviors.In view of the connotation interpretation on the theory of institutional transformation,the theory of property rights and the theory of farmer behavior and the pectination and commentary of literature research,and combining the experience of China's forestry development,constructing the research framework of this paper.Using the large sample survey data of 2420 farmers in the 9 provinces(regions)of china,this paper analyzes the theoretical logic and factual characteristics of farmers' forestry production investment behaviors.On this basis,the Probit model and OLS estimate are constructed to empirically test the hypothesis and inference of forestry socialized services,family resource endowments and farmers' forestry production investment behaviors.In addition,the heterogeneity of farmers are introduced to examine the decision-making differences in farmers' forestry production investment behaviors.The research shows the following points:(1)In the forestry socialized services,whether or not there is forestry technical education and training service,whether or not there is product market information service,whether application for harvesting is easy and whether or not there is afforestation subsidy service have a significant positive impact on farmers' capital and labor input or input scale,whether or not there is pest and disease and fire prevention and control service has a significant negative impact on the scale of farmers' labor input scale;(2)In the family resource endowments,the scale of forest land and the proportion of forestry income and the number of labors owned by family have a significant positive impact on the input and input scale of farmers' capital and labor,and the convenience of forest land management has no significant impact on the input and input scale of farmers' capital and labor;(3)The impact of forestry socialized services and family resource endowments on farmers' forestry production investment behaviors have clearly differentiated in the category of farmers,the social capital of farmers and the cultural degree of farmers.Based on the above conclusions,the following three policy recommendations are proposed:The first is to construct a new type of forestry socialized service system and improve the quality of social services;The second is to develop new forms of forestry and encourage large-scale management of forest land;The third is to optimize forestry support policies and guide the farmers' production investment decisions.
