Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge is important woody and oil material species of trees.But there is a biggest problem what we must to solve is that seeds improvement---low and unstable yield each plant.Early clonal selection is the basis of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge seeds improvement,whereas,Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge of extensive distribution and abundant variation.With 52 Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge clone graft seedlings as the research object,observing and analyzing 30 major indicators which have influence on Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge individual yield,including economy index,physiological index,phytomorph index,analyzing the correlation between the fruit yield per plant and seed yield per plant and diameter,we draw these conclusions as follows:(1)The physiological indexe and phytomorph index variation of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge is being,while the Seed yield per plant difference is larger which variation range in 0.11-1.83 kg,namely,range is 1.72 kg,average is 0.52 kg,the variation coefficient is 87.92%.individual yield,the number of fruit,maximum net photosynthetic rate,tare weight.It shows great genetic diversity between this index.The great disparity in each indexes of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge,the thesis will explain that genetic diversity of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge seeds quality and Potential of excellent varieties selection from two aspects--high variability of each index and the richness of each phenotype.(2)We conclude that there are 5 excellent clone strains including AZ11,XX05,LX65,KX16,KX23,which from 52 Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge clone strains by the comprehensive analysis of the economic index,physiological index and phytomorph index.Thus,these 5 excellent clone strains can be regarded as important objects in varieties selection.(3)Economic index,physiological index,phytomorph index and 14 signifance indicators between individual fruit yield and seeds which including total fresh weight,fruit length,fruit width,the number of fruits,tare,hundred grain weight,maximum net photosynthetic rate,content of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,chlorophyll content,total photosynthetic pigment content,carotenoid content,basal diameter,the number of lobules,can be used as major indicators to select Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge superior strains.(4)In this study,we did multiple linear regression,with individual yield of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge X13 as independent variable,and the rest of the phene as a dependent variable.Finally,the optimal regression equation is obtained,and phene which are most relevant for production are screened through the partial regression coefficient by linear significance tests.Y=-8.285+1.001X12-0.999X6-0.596X8+3.979X7+4.616X9+1.143X17+4.654X4+3.111X24Among them Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge individual yield and 8 phenes which including fruit yield X12,fruit length X4,tare X6,the number of fruits X7,and hundred grain weight X8 seed length X9,maximum net photosynthetic rate X17,and base diameter X24 of higher relativity.In the future selection process,we can establish the optimal regression equation to predict production,eventually achieve the check effect of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge clones selection.(5)As the research that the relationship between the individual yield and phene through diameter analysis showed that direct diameter coefficient absolute value of eight yield components can be collated as follows:individual yield>the number of fruit>basal diameter>fruit length>seeds length>maximum net photosynthetic rate>hundred kernel weight>tare weight.Among individual fruit production have biggest influence on individual seed yield.basal diameter coefficient and simple correlation coefficient are ranked first,followed by the number of fruit and basal diameter.(6)In future,when screening,we can give priority to those plant which fruit yield are high,the fruit are more,tare weight more thin,basal diameter are thicker,photosynthesis are stronger,fruit characters are medium and round.
