Research On Sustainable Development Strategy For Shennongjia Forests Region

Ecological system and the biosphere is the natural life support system and the substantial base on which human’s survival and development depends.Compared with other types of ecosystem,forest ecological system has the highest productivity and the largest biomass accumulation.It is the most abundant and stable reservoir of organic carbon,storage library,gene pool resource and energy.Shennongjia forests region is the only virgin forest area in central China and also one of the largest naturally mixed forest region in the Yangtze River basin.It has abundant biological resources.Compared with other temperate forest ecosystem it has more rich species diversity because it was little affected by the quaternaryglacial period of china.Therefore,to evaluate the forest ecosystem value of Shennongjia forests region can reflect the importance of Shennongjia forests region not only for biodiversity conservation in China,but also the climate regulation,water conservation,soil and water conservation and other important ecological function in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River region.Meanwhile,in order to play better forest ecological value and guarantee the sustainable development of national ecological security and national economy,in this paper,the ecological system sustainable development of Shennongjia forests region was studied.The forest ecological system economic value of Shennongjia forests region was evaluated among 1999-2015 by collecting data and practical investigation.
