| In recent years,with the rapid development of urbanization in China,great changes have taken place in the rural landscape and living conditions.The dirty and disordered environment in rural areas has been improved,and the villagers’ lives are more convenient and endowed.However,there are some worrying problems.This paper takes the traditional villages in the middle reaches of Nanxi River as the research object,using the traditional image theory of China,combining with the regional cultural characteristics of villages,to explore the village image of traditional villages.And in view of the existing problems in the protection and construction of villages,the paper puts forward new ideas of planning and design.Nanxi River Basin is located in Yongjia County,Wenzhou City,Zhejiang Province,which has a long history and culture,strong regional characteristics.Surrounded by mountains and blocked by water,the relatively closed terrain makes Nanxi River Basin still retain many ancient villages,including 6 villages listed in the list of traditional Chinese villages.Through careful design,the ancestors of Nanxi River Valley villages have achieved the beautiful ancient village paintings we see now.Image is not only the image of meaning,but also the mental image that people perceive.Kevin Lynch put forward the "impressionability" and "recognizability" of the city in the book "city image",and put forward five elements of the city image.The traditional villages in China also have unique characteristics,which are unforgettable.In addition to its location,layout and landscape features,the image of village conveys more cultural information to people.Therefore,the author uses the research methods and theories of image for reference,and takes the five elements of urban image as "boundary,road,region,node and landmark",corresponding to the five aspects of village image: site selection pattern,morphological texture,architectural courtyard,landscape node and sign,so as to study the village image of traditional villages in the middle reaches of Nanxi River,and put forward the design reference for village protection and new village construction.First of all,the current situation of traditional villages in the middle reaches of Nanxi River is investigated and summarized.It is found that the three large-scale population migrations in Chinese history have a great impact on the construction and development of traditional villages in this area.Due to the change of dynasties and the large number of people moving in,the economy and culture of the original wild and backward southeast coastal areas developed rapidly,and the unique Yongjia culture developed from the integration of Fujian and Vietnam culture in the advanced Central Plains culture at that time.At the same time,under the influence of natural environment and regional culture,the traditional villages with unique charm in the basin have been formed.Secondly,32 sample villages in this area are selected to classify and analyze the location pattern and internal space form in detail,among which the layout form,architectural courtyard and node mark of villages are analyzed in detail.On the basis of images,the paper explores its influencing factors,cultural roots and design principles.Finally,on the basis of the village image obtained from the previous analysis,in view of the problems in the protection and construction of modern villages,such as large demolition and large construction,model construction,imperfect infrastructure and so on,this paper puts forward countermeasures and new ideas for development and construction in the protection of traditional villages and the construction of beautiful villages.Through the analysis of the village image of the traditional villages in the middle reaches of Nanxi River,combined with the historical and cultural background,in the rapid wave of urbanization,this paper hopes to explore a new way of protecting the traditional villages and building beautiful villages that can not only meet the needs of people’s life and production,but also retain the characteristics of regional culture. |
