Study Onthe Handling Of Seafarers' Complaints From The Perspective Of Maritime Management

Ocean transportation plays an important role in China's economic development,as one of the most important resources of the shipping industry,the crew is the most basic force in shipping productivity.In the context of China's construction of a maritime power and a transportation power,it is particularly important to establish a high-quality and stable crew team.The crew industry has a large difference between the working and living environment on land and bears high risks and pressures.Because of the inability to communicate with the shore in time for long-term work on the ship,it is often difficult to protect the crew when rights are violated.Under the background of China's accession to the 2006 maritime labor convention and from the perspective of safeguarding the rights and interests of Chinese seafarers,this paper studies and analyzes the problems of the handling of seafarers' complaints,finds out the deficiencies in the current situation of the handling of seafarers' complaints,and draws on foreign experience to put forward Suggestions and countermeasures for the resolution of seafarers' complaints in China.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part,introduces the research background and research significance of this article,by listing part of domestic and foreign scholars on the research of the complaint handling crew to gain knowledge in related fields,roughly summed up the research ideas and research methods.In the second part,the concepts and terms related to crew members and crew members'complaints are explained,and the theoretical basis of this paper is explained.The third part discusses the current situation of the protection of the rights and interests of seafarers in China and the settlement of seafarers' complaints,including the measures taken and the results achieved,and points out the existing problems in the settlement of seafarers'complaints in China and the reasons for the problems.The fourth part expounds some representative foreign countries' practices in solving crew complaints and protecting crew's rights and interests,and provides experience for China in solving this problem.The fifth part analyzes the problems and causes of the current situation of the handling of crew complaints in China in combination with the first several parts of this paper.At the same time,it draws on the experience and practices of foreign countries,and puts forward Suggestions and countermeasures to solve the problems of crew complaints in China from strengthening awareness,improving professional legislation,perfecting complaint handling procedures and coordinating departments.The sixth part,the conclusion,carries on the summary and the induction to this text content.We should understand the crew and the risk of industry hard,help the crew to solve complaints,safeguard the rights and interests of the crew are not violated,improve the social awareness and influence of the crew together to complete the interest of security system reform and perfect,efficient solve the complaints of the crew,is an important approach to enhance the government credibility and crew honor,is also developing shipping economy,promote the important force in the domestic and foreign trade.
