necessary condition for understanding urban development.The historical city ruins are not only a valuable regional cultural heritage,but also built to represent the unique historical context of the city.At the same time,Baotou is located in the central part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,with the Daqing Mountain in the north and the Yellow River in the south.Farming culture and nomadic culture gather here to form a region where diverse cultures blend.The history here created the glory of the Hetao culture in the Qin and Han Dynasties.The Sui and Tang Dynasties formed a blend of nomadic cultures and diverse cultures.The famous drought and wharf in the northwest region from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.The first batch of key planned cities after the founding of Republic of China(301-1949 BC),the historical dynasties built in Baotou area have 51 important historical cities with definite geographical location,and draw the plane of the city schematic diagram.Secondly,starting from the spatial layout of the city,using research methods such as spatial graphic analysis,in a "sequence + structure" way to study the Warring States,Qin,Han,Northern Wei,Tang,Liao,Jin,Yuan,Ming,Qing,Qing,and before the founding of the PRC.The characteristics of the overall distribution,site selection layout,style preference,scale change and environmental evolution
