In industrial control applications,the need to transmit digital information across metal barriers is often mentioned.In some applications,metal barrier can be penetrated by wiring.In other applications,the method is not feasible,such as toxic closed metal containers.In addition,punching holes in the metal wall of the closed metal structure destroy the integrity of the structure,which leads to a series of unnecessary damage and increases the maintenance cost of the equipment.In order to obtain the internal information of a closed metal structure,a sensor needs to be installed inside the metal.However,because of the shielding of electromagnetic signals by metal gadolinium,data transmission based on electromagnetic waves cannot be performed and the efficiency is relatively low when transmitting energy.Therefore,in this paper,a per-metallic barrier energy transmission and information transmission system based on piezoelectric ultrasound is designed for the above problems.By investigating the application of ultrasonic signals in data transmission across metal barriers,and analyzing the practical application requirements for energy transmission and information transmission based on piezoelectric ultrasound,an experimental device is designed to transmit data from the inside out of the metal container and to supply power to the electronic equipment inside the metal container by an external power supply device:1: Based on the electromagnetic wave in the metal wall energy transmission and information transmission,the electromagnetic wave signal may be closed metal structure shielding,unable to achieve the transmission of energy and data.Therefore,this paper proposes the use of ultrasonic signals for data transmission.In the article,the theoretical analysis of the propagation process of ultrasonic signals in metal media is established.A "sandwich" transmission structure is established.The structure consists of a pair of coaxial the piezoelectric transducers installed on both sides of the metal wall are tested,and the results show that the transmission efficiency reaches 30%.2: Based on the theory of piezoelectric ultrasonic energy transmission and information transmission,the hardware circuit of piezoelectric ultrasonic energy transmission and information transmission system is designed,including internal circuit and external circuit of closed metal structure.According to the hardware circuit,the software development of the energy transmission and information transmission system based on piezoelectric ultrasonic is carried out.The hardware circuit and software program of the system are tested experimentally.The results show that the system can recover the initial baseband signal.3: This paper conducts an experimental analysis of the energy transmission and information transmission characteristics of per-metallic barrier based on piezoelectric ultrasound,and the appropriate high-frequency signal is selected to communicate with the closed metal container.This signal is modulated by an internal modulation signal,and then the data is transmitted from the inside to the outside.The 400 mAh lithium battery inside the metal wall with a thickness of 15 mm is charged.The experimental results show that the actual charging current is 20 mA.
