A Research On Performance Management Of Shanghai W Shipping Agency

Appropriate performance management is crucial for the development of a company.From the perspective of performance management,this thesis takes Shanghai W Shipping Agency as an example to investigate effective solutions,aiming to promote a better development of this company.Based on the reviews of domestic and international literature,this study analyzes the performance management problems and the corresponding countermeasures.Starting from the concepts and characteristics of performance appraisal management,the related theories are researched,and the key performance index(KPI)method is further applied in this study.Further on,this study points out the characteristics of the performance appraisal management and the status quo of performance appraisal system in shipping agency companies by investigating the existing problems faced by Shanghai W Shipping Agency.The results show that the agency has certain problems in the three levels of internal operation,customer service and finance.Then combing the principles and ideas of the company's performance management evaluation system with KPI method,the study refines the three key performance indicators of internal operation indicators,customer service indicators,and financial indicators so as to finally construct a performance management evaluation system and propose corresponding countermeasures.This study can shed light on the effective performance appraisal management of companies in shipping agency industry.
