Jiahu site is located in Jiahu village,Beiwudu Town,Wuyang County,Henan Province.It is a Neolithic settlement site dating back about 9000-7500 years.It has undergone eight archaeological excavations,and has found thousands of important relics,including the world's oldest and most intact seven sound instruments-bone flute and many other"the world first".The cultural connotation of the site is extremely rich.This paper is of great significance to the studies of Neolithic culture,the origin of rice farming,the origin of music,the origin of wine making,the origin of primitive religion and divination,the origin of primitive engraving and the origin of Chinese characters in the Huaihe River Basin of Central Plains.The evolution of climate and environment in Holocene and the relationship between man and nature.Jiahu site was named after the discovery of Jiahu Village.The site and village are closely connected in geographical space and highly overlapped.They are closely related to each other in the development of history and modern society.But Wuyang County,where the ruins are located,is a poverty-stricken county at the provincial level,which has a long history of natural disasters and social poverty.The construction and development of villages and the interests of villagers have become an unavoidable problem in the protection and display of ruins.In addition,Jiahu site has some characteristics,such as the fragility of the earth site,the difficulty of protection,the poor visibility of prehistoric site and the difficulty of display,etc.In this paper,the protection and display methods of Jia hu site are studied.Firstly,the published archaeological achievements are systematically combed to provide the basis for the display work.Secondly,through the field investigation,to understand the natural and social environment of Jiahu village,to analyze the damage to the site ontology and the impact on the site environment,to understand the current situation of site protection and display,and to analyze the shortcomings of the previous work.Finally,the strategies of protection and display of Jiahu site are put forward,and the concrete design practice is analyzed.People-oriented and equitable,Increase public participation,improve the effectiveness and inclusion of site information dissemination.In order to stimulate the vitality of Jiahu site in contemporary life,a new mode of"living state"protection and display for the sharing of site and village resources is formed.
