With the promotion of the protection awareness of heritage cities around the world,the gradual improvement in relevant laws and regulations,as well as the enrichment of protection methods and approaches,great progress have been made in heritage protection.As a result,there is a certain degree of contradiction between the protection of historical sites and the development of urban culture.How to better integrate the protection of historical sites into the environment of historical cities or regions,and how to achieve the win-win of conservation and development arethe realistic problems that we need to solve urgently.Cultural heritage protection should not only pay attention to the protection for cultural heritage sites,but also even more the protection for historical urban landscape.As the ancient capital of 13 dynasties,Luoyang has numerous historical sites,including the Dingdingmen heritage park.The theme of this paper is the analysis of the characteristics of historical sites in Luoyang city,and the illustration on how to shape the historical and cultural resources of Luoyang city through the urban historical landscape.Finally,urban cultural genes and urban morphological characteristics are integrated.On this basis,it is proposed to construct the future sustainable developed protection system by establishing the overall protection framework,improving the landscape memorial system,using the living heritage theory to construct the sustainable development approaches as the protection design strategy of the Dingdingmen heritage park.Luoyang,the capital of the Sui and Tang dynasties,witnessed the rise and fall of the regime and gathered the highest achievements of civilization at that time.The group of palace architectures and single architectures in Luoyang represented the highest level of planning and construction in China at that time.For example,the "two lanes and one street" in Luoyang.Through the redesign of landscape in Dingdingmen,we can understand the culture and landscape characteristics in that time.First of all,this paper illustrates the background of the research object,determining the research content,research purpose and significance,as well as the research status and methods.Secondly,combined with the study in domestic and foreign,this paper analyzes the urban planning layout of Luoyang in the Sui and Tang dynasties from a macro perspective from the historical culture of Luoyang.Whilstit explains the urban background of dingding gate and "two lanes and one street" on the basis of relevant theories,drawing the overall layout and tone of the landscape.Finally,after the investigation and analysis of the Boboli gardens in Florence,Italy,Ancient Roman Square Site Park and Daming Palace Site Park,the paper summarizes the excellent saved historical landscape design methods and combines them with the landscape design of historical sites in Luoyang.Moreover,this paper analyzes the current situation of Dingdingmen park,deeply exploring its historical significance and cultural connotation,the unreasonable aspects of its display,landscape and facilities,then designing the case which not only respects the underground site but also follows the above-ground landscape.On the basis of maintaining the real appearance of the site,the planning,element extraction,cultural spirit and sustainability of the site's living heritage landscape of Dingdingmen site are integrated and embodied in the site park landscape.In conclusion,this paper provides new ideas for the protection and development of urban historical landscape,the evolution and improvement of site landscape redesign.
