The Art Of Nanjing Velvet Flower Application In Interior Decoration Design Research

The traditional handmade velvet flowers are gorgeous in history.Through exquisite craftsmanship,unique aesthetic perspective and combined with traditional Chinese cultural symbols,Nanjing velvet flower's artistic value is reflected when it is reduced to cognitive value.In 2006,Nanjing velvet was listed as the intangible cultural heritage of Jiangsu Province.In 2010,it was named the most beautiful Chinese handicraft in the eyes of the youth of the world by the World Youth Congress of the International Organization of Folk Art.According to Wu Changquan,the handwritten copy of the sixth generation of Nanjing velvet flower,the historical materials of velvet flower,recorded that the velvet flower originated in the Tang-Wu Zetian period.At that time,Nanjing velvet flower,as a royal tribute,was often praised by literati and ink-writers.It was not until the Ming and Qing dynasties that Nanjing velvet flower began to flow into the folk.The velvet flower workshop was born and the production began to take shape.After the founding of New China,people's aesthetic taste began to change,and the demand for velvet flower decreased sharply.Especially after the reform and opening up,the production of jewelry in industrialization is large and the variety is complete,but Nanjing velvet is still limited to small-scale full-hand workshop production mode,so far it is difficult to achieve large-scale industrial production,economic efficiency is low;at present,there are fewer Nanjing velvet practitioners,and the training of new generation of inheritors is not optimistic.In order to save the endangered non-relic art form of Nanjing velvet,broaden the application field of Nanjing velvet,and inject national and regional design elements into interior decoration art,so as to achieve cross-border innovative design cooperation,is the original intention of the author's master's thesis.The first part of this paper discusses the origin and significance of the subject,puts forward four research methods and corresponding technical routes,lists and compares the current research status of Nanjing velvet at home and abroad,and puts forward three innovative points.The second part describes the development,evolution,inheritance,protection,technology,materials and artistic characteristics of Nanjing velvet,the intangible cultural heritage of Jiangsu Province.The third part analyses the existing situation of Nanjing velvet in interior decoration design,and puts forward the necessity of combining Nanjing velvet with interior decoration design;the fourth part puts forward the concept of reconstruction and the method of reconstruction of Nanjing velvet,and specifies the purpose,method and principle of reconstruction of Nanjing velvet in interior decoration design;the fifth part discusses the interior decoration of Nanjing velvet.The direct and indirect application methods of ornamental design are mainly analyzed in the direct application method,which focuses on how Nanjing velvet combines with othermaterials,and the visible and invisible design ideas are put forward in the indirect application method.Finally,the sixth part is the conclusion and outlook.There are three conclusions: the inheritance of Nanjing velvet flower urgently needs innovation to drive;Nanjing velvet flower needs to be reconstructed at the level of interior decoration design in order to promote the close connection between Nanjing velvet flower and people's life;Nanjing velvet flower also needs to be combined with interior decoration design across borders.In view of the rapid development of science and technology and the integration of world culture,Nanjing velvet flower will surely achieve its goal of being widely accepted by the world and getting rid of the industry dilemma by virtue of its unique artistic charm and innovative design value,while improving the quality of interior decoration art design.With the help of this study,it is hoped that it will bring enlightening significance to the inheritance and innovation of Nanjing velvet art and traditional decorative art culture,and play a positive role in promoting its future development.
