With the progress of science and technology,the toll mode of expressway has changed gradually.For the rapid development of ETC(Electronic Toll Collection)electronic toll collection technology in recent years,both ETC and MTC hybrid toll stations have become the main forms of expressway toll stations in China so far.Due to the development of mobile payment,license plate recognition technology,Internet Toll Collection and the abolition policy of ETC promotion,the proportion and mode of toll lanes are facing new challenges and exploration.Based on the level of service and a balanced cost-effectiveness,two different methods will be showed in this paper to discuss the reasonable optimization scheme of toll lane in different toll modes.First of all,the classification,layout and development process were analyzed systematically,and the different schemes of lane changing process as for ETC lane.The traffic characteristics and capacity of various toll lanes are also summarized.So the conclusions above would build a solid foundation for the following theoretical research and simulation modeling.Secondly,based on the system dynamics method,the impact of social system and policy environment on the proportion of automatic toll lanes such as ETC/ITC is studied from a macro perspective.Then,taking the service level as the optimization target,the system dynamics model is established in this paper about the lane opening method of each toll mode with the change of traffic volume in one day and the relationship is explored between the toll station integrated system and the number of lanes.Thirdly,based on the multi-objective non-linear optimization method,the cost and benefit of static toll stations in a certain period of time is analyzed specifically in the chapter.It establishes the cost-benefit comprehensive function equation,seeks the better solution to achieve balance,and analyses the number of toll lanes opened at this time.Finally,the paper uses VISSIM simulation software to validate the two methods above and compare the results further,and preliminarily studies the relationship between ETC Lane layout ratio and ETC travel ratio in the future development trend at last.
