As a basic research in the field of mechanical engineering,the development of precision transmission has a direct impact on the performance,reliability and safety of national equipment.At present,the difficulties and hot spots in the research of precision transmission at home and abroad gradually focus on the pursuit of high gear transmission accuracy to achieve accurate motion transformation and load power matching.However,the traditional precision transmission,whether gear or worm gear or worm,causes the transmission response to be delayed due to the presence of tooth side clearance,resulting in the transmission error caused by the rotary clearance.In this paper,based on the enveloping ring surface worm drive of roller,a kind of precision drive device which can effectively eliminate the transmission gap and return error is put forward--Two-Section Enveloping Hourglass Worm Gearing,The clearance principle,structural design,3d modeling,mechanical simulation,manufacturing and tooth surface optimization were studied.The main work is as follows:1)The transmission theory and clearance adjustment principle of Two-Section Enveloping Hourglass Worm Gearing are introduced.According to the center distance of 80 mm and transmission ratio of 30,the Two-Section Enveloping Hourglass Worm Gearing reducer is designed.2)Matlab analysis software and UG modeling software were used to establish the three-dimensional model of the worm pair,and the mechanical and kinematic simulation of the worm pair was carried out through the simulation analysis software ansys and recurdyn,and the stress distribution and transmission performance of the worm pair were studied.3)For the processing of two-section worm,a processing process is designed and a reducer is manufactured.4)Based on modern gear meshing theory,the contact line equation of roller enveloping ring surface worm grinding with 7 key error parameters is established,and a set of method for worm complex surface optimization machining is put forward.
