As a commonly used control device for industrial piping systems,valves in China have long adopted a design and production model that is mainly based on two-dimensional engineering drawing design and supplemented by three-dimensional model design.The digital design and manufacturing technology of valves is relatively backward.With the profound changes and great progress of science and technology,the valve industry is transforming from two-dimensional design to three-dimensional design.According to the demand of a valve manufacturing enterprise in Wenzhou,Zhejiang,the project team researched and compiled the "valve digital integrated design platform" and delivered it to the enterprise for use.This paper focuses on the data management technology of valve digital integrated design platform.In the valve design process,there are many and complicated design parameters,too many relevant standard data used in the valve design manual and design,and the designer's query will take more time and effort.Using computer-aided technology to quickly and accurately query the parameters and standards used in the design,reasonably manage the query data and design result data,and achieve efficient product design are issues worthy of in-depth research.According to the requirements of valve manufacturing enterprises,this paper studied the data management technology in the valve design process.The main research contents are as follows:(1)This paper studies the overall structure and functions of the valve digital integrated design platform,analyzes the characteristics of the design data required by the valve digital design platform and the design result data generated,and establishes the data management system of the valve digital integrated design platform.(2)The technique of quick data query in valve design is studied.Valve digital integrated design platform when the valve design needs different design data,such as tables,pictures,and so on,will organize these data into a certain data structure stored in the SQL Server database,the use of ADO data access technology,for parametric design to provide calculation,checking and other links need data query function.Makes engineering design personnel in this platform of valve parametric design interface,click the corresponding button,in the design environment directly into the query,query the database content,without frequent switch interface design.For some parameters,the program can be automatically queried without manual intervention to avoid possible errors in manual query.(3)In order to expand the query function of this system and meet the wider design needs of enterprises,a general valve design data query system was established.This system can be used as a module(subsystem)of the valve digital integrated design platform,or it can be independent of the integrated design platform.Self-contained system for valve designers to quickly query design data.(4)The storage and management technology of design result data of valve digital integrated design platform is studied.These data mainly include: 3d model,2d engineering drawings,design and calculation documents,and finite element analysis and optimization documents and data.For the product design data that enterprises require to be stored directly in the database,this paper uses binary method to store the related design result data,and the data has good portability.SolidWorks PDM is used for data storage and management of general industrial valve 3d models,2d engineering drawings,design documents and analysis result data generated from engineering analysis.Through the secondary development of SolidWorks PDM,the operation in data management is simplified by combining enterprise requirements and product features.(5)Under the environment of Visual Studio 2010,the valve data management system database is established by SQL Server.The valve data management system is developed by using C ++ language and VB language.The feasibility and practicability of the theoretical method in this paper are verified by a running example designed.
