| Driving behavior can be divided into car-following and lane-changing.Compared with car-following,lane-changing is more complicated. The driver needs to integrate various aspects of information to make a correct lane-change decision.Specifically, the lane-change decision is driver after the lane intention, the target lane is selected, and then the distance between the own vehicle and the front and rear vehicles on the target lane is evaluated based on the position and speed of the own vehicle, thereby determining the cognitive process of the appropriate lane changing time point. In previous studies on lane change decision-making,most of them explored the impact of driver’s age, gender, driving style, etc.on lane change decision, but did not discuss the impact of driver’s safety attitude on lane change decision.Based on this, this study mainly examines the interaction of lane types and driver’s safety attitude on lane change decisions, and explores the visual attention mechanism of drivers with different safety attitudes. The study is divided into two parts:Study 1: Using a 2 × 2 mixed experimental design, the independent variables between groups are driver safety attitudes(entertainment driving attitude,non-entertainment driving attitude),and the independent variables within the group are lane types(double-sided lane,Unilateral lane),the dependent variable reserves relative lane-changing decision time. The driving video scenes in the two lane conditions were used as experimental materials, and the participants were required to press the buttons to react to pass the road section quickly when they judged that they can safely change lanes.Fill in the driver safety attitude related scale after the experiment.Research 2: Research 2 builds on Research 1,which attempts to further analyze the visual search patterns of drivers with different safety attitudes in lane changing decisions in different lanes. The experiment adopts a three-factor mixed experimental design of 2 × 2× 2.The independent variable between the groups is the driver’s safety attitude(entertainment driving attitude driver,non-entertainment driving attitude driver),and the independent variable within the group is the lane type(both sides).Lane, unilateral lane)and eye movement interest area(front view, side view mirror),the dependent variable is the total gaze time in the front field of view and side view mirror when the driver changes lanes. From the above two studies, this study draws the following conclusions:(1)The driver’s safety attitude and lane type have an interactive effect on the driver’s relative lane change reserved safety time: under the condition of two-sided lanes, the highdriving group of entertaining driving attitude is shorter than the low group driver’s lane change reserved safety time;Under the condition of one-sided lane, there is no difference in the reserved safety time for drivers with different safety attitudes to change lanes.(2)Lane type, area of interest and driver’s safety attitude have an interactive effect on the driver’s total fixation time.Under the condition of single-sided lanes, the driving attitude of entertaining drivers is higher in the group of drivers than in the group of drivers. The time is long.Under the condition of two-sided lanes, the group of drivers with high entertaining driving attitude has a longer total fixation time on the front view than the group with low driving.(3)Under the condition of two-sided lanes, the longer the drivers gaze time in the forward field of view, the shorter the reserved safety time for lane change. This may be the reason for the high driving entertainment attitude. The group of drivers has a shorter reserved safety time for lane change in two-sided lanes.Main visual attention mechanism... |
