The enterprise chooses the upstream high-quality supplier to establish the good cooperation relations,may control the purchase cost effectively,reduces the purchase risk,thus obtains more superiority in the competition.Zhejiang Province Water Resource & Electric-power Materials co.,LTD is a material trading enterprise affiliated to Zhejiang energy group.In the increasingly fierce competitive environment,how to choose suppliers suitable for the company's business characteristics through objective evaluation has become a problem that enterprise managers pay close attention to.This paper aims to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth study and analysis on the supplier selection and evaluation of Zhejiang water materials company,to understand the company's current problems in supplier management,use qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to build an index system of supplier selection and evaluation,and use analytic hierarchy process to evaluate and select suppliers.The conclusion provides a scientific solution to the supplier management problem of Zhejiang water materials company,and also provides a reference for the supplier management of other enterprises of the same type.Firstly,the relevant literature on supplier selection and evaluation at home and abroad is reviewed,and the research topic is put forward.Secondly,the theory of supplier management and the main methods of supplier selection and evaluation are elaborated to lay a foundation for supplier selection and evaluation.Third,through indepth analysis of the operating situation and supplier management of Zhejiang water materials company,the paper points out that the company has some problems in supplier management,such as imperfect evaluation index,unscientific index setting and evaluation method.Fourth,by the expert scoring method and analytic hierarchy process(ahp),build accord with the characteristics of Zhejiang water materials company supplier selection evaluation index system,the fifth,through the case analysis method to research and analysis of three titanium pigment supplier,the results of the study in Zhejiang water materials company's choice of key material supplier evaluation requirements,at the same time also put forward some countermeasures and Suggestions on how to strengthen the supplier management,supplier management for the enterprise to provide theoretical support and practical guidance.
