Environmental pollution and the energy crisis have prompted the automobile ind ustry to develop in a clean,efficient and sustainable manner.Electric vehicles are c onsidered as the only long-term solution for future transportation by virtue of the ad vantages of energy conservation and environmental protection.Electric vehicles are r egarded as the future direction of the automobile industry all over the world.So far,although a great deal of manpower and material resources have been invested in th e research of pure electric vehicles,the power battery and other key technologies ha ve not made an effective breakthrough.Under the existing technical conditions,it is always the goal of the researchers that how to reasonably match the components a nd parameters of the drive system so that the performance of the drive system is o ptimal and the requirement of vehicle power and economy can be better met.It is also the main significance of this paper.This paper which carried out the research on the matching design and optimizat ion of the drive system relies on a company's ‘pure electric vehicle R & D'project.The main research contents focuses on how to select the components and match th e parameters of the drive system,how to carry out simulation analysis,how to use advanced algorithm to optimize parameters,how to carry out drive control and netw ork communication between components.The main contents of this paper are include d the following parts:First of all,the background,significance and present situation of development o f pure electric vehicle,the basic structure of pure electric vehicles and the layout of driving system are analyzed by this paper.According to the formulation of vehicle performance design indicators,the selection and parameter design of driving motor and power battery are completed,and the overall layout of the vehicle is completed according to the load distribution.On this basis,Cruise software is used as a foun dation to build a joint simulation platform of vehicle performance.Through setting t he corresponding calculation tasks,the results of parameter matching design are verified to meet requirements of vehicle performance design indicators.Secondly,the mathematical model of the drive motor is established,and the tes t data are obtained by the motor bench,and then the external characteristic curve a nd the efficiency surface of the motor are obtained,as while as,the influence facto rs of the driving range of the pure electric vehicle are analyzed.Taking acceleration time and driving range as objective function,the parameters of driving system are optimized by genetic algorithm,the optimal matching scheme of power system para meters is determined,and achieve good vehicle performance output goal.Finally,the control principle and communication network between the driving s ystem components are designed,according to the requirements,the vehicle network t est bench is built to verify the feasibility of the control principle and communicatio n network.The research results of this paper have certain theoretical significance and pract ical application value which can provide certain theoretical support and method guid ance for the electric vehicle drive system matching optimization design,the drive co ntrol principle design and the whole vehicle communication network design,these res earch results play a positive role in the promotion of pure electric vehicles.
