Research On The Spatial Pattern And Architectural Style Of Contemporary Featured Commercial Blocks

Since ancient times,the prosperity of Commerce has been a symbol of economic prosperity.As a form of commercial buildings,commercial streets have been integrated into the city in a more open and friendly manner,adding vitality to it.With the advent of the experience economy and the consumption era,the modern commercial street now presents a characteristic trend and emphasizes on the combination of fashionable lifestyle and traditional culture.Based on the above background,the author tries to use the theoretical research as a tool along with the case study of contemporary characteristic commercial streets in terms of the space arrangement and architectural skin which are most concerned in the field of architecture,and to apply and test them in practical architecture projects.The thesis has four sections.The first section reviews the development and vicissitude of commercial blocks expounds the architecture methods of the characteristics of commercial blocks,including regional characteristics,cultural experience characteristics,theme modeling characteristics and spatial entity characteristics.The second and third section of the thesis are the focus of the research.The second part starts from the theoretical theory,based on the conclusion and illustration,from the general aspects of the layout of the building entities and street scales to the spatial level,rhythm and the treatment of the special terrain of the commercial streets.From the new angles,this paper probes into the spatial pattern of contemporary commercial blocks.The third section mainly studies the architectural style of the contemporary characteristic commercial streets,primarily discusses the preservation and deduction of their architectural styles and the diversity and timeliness in them,through the design to reflect the commercial atmosphere of the streets.The fourth part of the paper demonstrates the significance of theoretical research based on practical project.It introduces a practical project,Lushan Luling Town Culture and Art Block Design,which the author was participating in as one of the main design members under the guidance of the mentor.The project design started in March 2017 and lasted for one year and now is under construction.
