Research On The Street Parks And The Satisfaction Of Residents In Xuzhou City

The street parks are developed at domestic and abroad in recent years, which aresmall and in the form of park features. In addition to the general green function, it alsoprovide the function of the residents sitting. With the city people’s living standardsimprove, the increasing demand of urban open space, street parks are going to meet theneeds of people which has become an important content of building urban green spacesystem. Therefore, the number of existing street parks, area, layout, function and use ofpopulation have an important guiding significance for the construction of urban streetparks and green space more perfectly. In this paper, Xuzhou City in2010ETM+imageFigure, Google earth in high-resolution remote sensing images, combined with field tipsabout and satisfaction survey, the use of landscape indices to statistical analysis,correlation analysis, factor analysis, gray relational analysis and other methods are usedto analyze distribution characteristics and the satisfaction of the crowd in Xuzhou streetparks space. a reasonable distribution of the existing street parks, utilization of thegarden-house facilities and their functions (Satisfaction) study are studied from threescales including the big, medium and small.Draw the following conclusions.(1) The street patks are less and uneven in Xuzhou City. However， Thedistribution pattern is that gathered in the center and has characteristics of high in southand low in north in the overall. Street parks in center city is located in the vicinity ofroads, buildings, water and the area is large, while roadside parks outside the built-upareas is mainly located at the edge of the green and the area is small. The fittingrelationship between spatial distribution and population density distribution of streetparks in the whole, southeast and northwest regions is better，and that is reasonable inthe area of the spatial distribution，but the area and the number of distribution of streetparks in the northeast region and the area scale are less reasonable.(2)The majority Satisfaction obtained Xuzhou City of street parks between"general" and "satisfaction" in the center and rural of the city. Overall satisfaction show increase first and then decrease in the trend of increasing and the more rural direction,the greater the difference of street parks satisfaction.(3) The demographic characteristics of age and education level characteristicsshowed a close relationship with satisfaction. Older age groups show positive visitattitude in all group types but satisfaction of them were low.(4) The higher degree of accessibility of the street parks, the higher level ofsatisfaction and the more number of visitors. Otherwise, the satisfaction is low and thenumber is less.(5) Satisfaction degree of the plant role of street parks in overall is high and thesatisfaction degree of the seat distribution and shade facilities are low. Satisfactiondegree of sports facilities and children’s facilities are low that is a common feature ofthe overall and the four regions.(6) The degree concern of existing facilities elements of the street parks is high.however, but the satisfaction of these facilities is not completely high. People lessconcern about the sports facilities and children’s facilities and other special facilitieswhich is consistency with the result of thesatisfaction.
