Collection And Analysis Of Oral History Of Contemporary Architectural Theory In Shaanxi Province

After 70 years of development,a large number of outstanding architectural figures have emerged in shaanxi province and accumulated abundant theoretical achievements.This article emphasis on contemporary architectural theory in shaanxi province presents the status of the different historical period,using the methods of interview,the induction of different groups on the subject,the oral historical materials,analyzing the architect in real thought,in the process of the clarify the research direction in architectural theory,and from the Angle of the parties to understand the inner cause of architectural theory,around the main shaanxi architectural theory research at various stages,external characteristic and the research content description.In this way,the contribution of architectural theory research in shaanxi province is analyzed and the general method of combining oral history with architectural theory research is explored.In the early stage,through visiting various architectural design institutes,architectural universities,archives,libraries and other places to collect information about people and works related to architectural theory,we have a preliminary understanding of the basic state of architectural development in shaanxi province.Then,30 interviewees covering all information sources as far as possible were selected according to four objective criteria,namely,professional identity,age,personnel unit and educational background.According to the principle of completely describing the state of architectural theory,a series of interview topics are formulated,including theoretical characteristics,types of theoretical research,architects' design thoughts,architectural theories,architectural figures and architectural works.During the process of the communist party of China had an interview with the actual interview 23 construction characters,will interview the raw data(video,physical)finishing archive,then USES the question-and-answer manuscript form arrange interviews,on the basis of the merge oral data according to the same period,the same theme,and to extract key information,summarizes the development situation of the architectural theory.At the same time,according to the preliminary field research and interview process of the supplement,sort out the important contemporary architectural figures in shaanxi province.This paper describes the main body of architectural theory with reference to the objective selection criteria.It not only affirms their contribution to the architectural theory of shaanxi province,but also provides detailed data for later researchers.Finally,it is hoped that the detailed description of interview workflow can provide codes of conduct and process specifications for oral history research of architectural theory and establish a complete methodology for the same type of research.
