Research On Familiness Acquisition And Enterprise Performance In Orient Cable's Intergenerational

It has been 40 years since China's reform and opening up.Nowadays,the first generation of entrepreneurs in China has been overwhelmed for many years,and an unavoidable problem is in front of us,which is family firm's inheritance.The focus of this paper is whether young entrepreneurs can take over the careers pioneered by the older generation of hard-working and carry forward the development.In this environment,some enterprises adopt the “Transgenerational entrepreneurship” to carry on the inheritance.Under this inheritance mode,the heirs will combine the family business related strategies to create their own business,grow in the entrepreneurship,and also enable the family business to obtain new vitality.As early as 2009,Orient Cable began the family business inheritance plan,and adopted the inheritance model of intergenerational entrepreneurship.Nowadays,Orient Cable has become a public family business,and has successfully completed the transformation from traditional manufacturing to high-tech enterprises,and also achieved a smooth inheritance.In order to explore the path arrangement and inheritance performance in the inheritance of Orient cable family business,based on the previous research,guided by the theory of intergenerational entrepreneurship,resource-based theory and knowledge transfer theory,borrowing the basic process of content analysis,this paper comes to the general situation of the elements' transmission in the process of the Orient Cable's heritage.Then the case study method was used to explore the path arrangement in the cross-generation entrepreneurship of Orient Cable.Finally,the event research method and factor analysis method are used to evaluate the effect of Orient Cable's cross-generation entrepreneurship.The research findings in this paper are as follows:(1)Transgenerational entrepreneurial inheritance promotes the inheritance and creation of familial assets.(2)The inheritance paths of different elements in transgenerational entrepreneurial inheritance are different.(3)Transgenerational entrepreneurial inheritance enhances corporate performance and realizes the growth of the company across generations.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for the family business still being passed on:(1)the planning and implementation of the inheritance should be sooner rather than later(2)the heirs actively participate in the implementation of the inheritance plan.(3)The heir should purposely build the team and gradually replace the old team.I hope that the research on the inheritance of Orient Cable's intergenerational entrepreneurship will help to make suggestions from the institutional arrangement and implementation of family business inheritance,provide assistance for family business inheritance,and enrich relevant research.
