Strategy Of Residential Historical And Cultural Blocks In The View Of Livability

Residential historic and cultural blocks refer to historic and cultural blocks with residence as the main function.It is not only an important carrier of urban residential culture,but also an important part of residents' collective memory.Protecting residents' basic living needs and the maintenance of the continuity of block life are the key points of the protection of residential historical and cultural blocks.However,since the reform and opening-up,great changes have taken place in the way of urban residents' life.Their demands for improving living conditions and pursuing a better life have become increasingly strong.This requires that the protection of blocks should keep pace with the time and pay attention to improving the livability of neighborhoods.This paper attempts to use the livable perspective to examine the status quo of the protection of residential historic and cultural blocks,and puts forward the protection strategies to provide new ideas for the protection and renewal of residential historic and cultural blocks.This paper constructs a basic research framework from the system of "problem-analysis-countermeasure-demonstration".On the basis of grasping the research trends and practical progress of block protections in China and abroad,the paper summarizes the experience and lessons of them.By introducing the livable evaluation index system of residential area,relevant policies,norms and standards,and combining the current characteristics and typical problems of residential historical and cultural blocks,this paper establishes the livable evaluation index system of residential historic and cultural blocks.Then,in the framework of livable evaluation system,combined with various evaluation standards,the protection principles and strategies of residential historical and cultural blocks are put forward.Finally,the feasibility of livable protection strategies is verified in Pingjiang Historical and Cultural District of Suzhou.The protection strategies is supplemented to improve its universalityIn this paper,the author proposes to establish the livable evaluation system of residential historical and cultural blocks,and formulate the corresponding protection strategies,which provides a new idea for the protection and renewal of residential historical and cultural blocks.It should be noted that the strategies proposed in this paper still need to be adjusted and applied according to the actual situation of eachblock,and developed and improved in continuous practice.
