As one of the important components of automobile,the basic function of the seat is to meet the passenger's ride and safety.With the continuous improvement of the social living standard,the user's comfort expectation for the seat is also increasing.Comfort has gradually become one of the important reference factors for users to purchase automobile products,so it is of great significance to study the comfort of seats.In this paper,the static comfort of a certain vehicle's driver seat was analyzed by means of simulation and experiment research,and the static comfort of the seat was optimized based on the evaluation of comfort and the study of the influencing factors.Firstly,the relative analysis and evaluation methods of seat 's static comfort were summarized,including the comfort analysis of sitting posture,the analysis of seat's A surface,the test of H point detection,and the test of foam's hardness and density.The subjective evaluation method of static comfort and the objective evaluation method of static comfort based on passenger-seat's pressure distribution were also introduced.Secondly,the tests of seat's material were completed,including the compression and tensile test of foam material,and the tensile test of cover material,which provide accurate input for the use of foam and fabric material curve in simulation.Furthermore,based on the detailed seat model,the finite element was meshed,all kinds of connections and the contact setting of the parts were established,and the covering effect of seat cover was also considered.In order to verify the accuracy of the analysis model,the H-point position of the seat and the body pressure distribution based on the H-point device and 50% dummy were simulated and analyzed.Compared with the test of the H-point coordinate and the body pressure distribution,the results showed that the H-point of seat is close to each other in the simulation and test,the pattern of body pressure distribution is consistent and the maximum error of the main pressure index is less than 14%.So the detailed seat model has high simulation accuracy,it can accurately reflect the static comfort state of the seat.Thirdly,based on the simulation model of the detailed driver seat,the key parameters affecting the seat comfort were studied,including the influence of the seat's cover,the hardness of the foam,the thickness of the foam and the support of waist on the body pressure distribution were analyzed.Finally,based on the evaluation results of the static comfort of a certain vehicle's driver seat and the influence of the key parameters of the seat on the body pressure distribution,the corresponding optimization schemes were put forward to improve the static comfort of the driver seat.And furthermore,the seat sample was producted.Through the subjective and objective evaluation of the sample,the effectiveness of driver seat's comfort optimization was verified.
