Seat comfort has gradually become a key indicator of automotive design.The pressure distribution regulation between the occupant and the seat can be excavated to guide the seat comfort design.In the processing of the seats design,repeated trials and optimization are used to verify the seats comfort in different parameters.The establishment of a suitable crew and seat model,can reduce the cost of seat comfort design and cycle,as well as the development of the objective evaluation simulation method relating to the comfort of the body pressure distribution.Now,given the lack of simulation of seat comfort,this paper took a SUV front seat as the research object.The analysis of the static comfort of the seat was studied by the regulation of the partial and whole body pressure distribution,foam material and whole seat,body pressure distribution simulation and experimental verification.Firstly,a series of experimental tests of foam material of seat showed that the resilience of the foam,the elongation at break and the hysteresis rate are relatively higher compared to the competing products,which meet the basic requirements of comfort.The compression and tensile stress-strain curves of foam material were used for subsequent simulation analysis.Secondly,the seat comfort simulation included two parts:one was the use of H-point measurement device,the simulation result of which has a consistence with seat design parameters.The other was the influence of the seat back angle and the cushion angle on the seat body pressure distribution.The influence of the backrest angle on the body pressure distribution of the South Korea 50th dummy's back is more obvious.The cushion angle has a similar influence on the body pressure distribution of the seat cushion.Thirdly,in order to verify the rationality of the body pressure distribution test,two different price seats were selected for subjective evaluation and the body pressure distribution test of the seat.The test results indicate that the price of the seat pressure distribution is more reasonable and comfortable,which is consistent with the results of subjective evaluation.Finally,this paper divided the body pressure distribution area between the human body and the seat into 17 parts,and calculated the weight coefficient of each region by analytic hierarchy process(AHP).Through the comparison of the simulation and test results of the pressure distribution test of the H-point measuring device and the Korean dummy to verify the validity of the simulation.The results show that the pressure distribution of the evaluation index value of the H-point measuring device in the shoulder,chest,buttocks and thighs,is below 10%.The whole pressure distribution evaluation index between the researched automobile body and seat is acceptable compared to the competitive ones.In addition,the partial pressure distribution evaluation index is not profitable.
