Abstract/Summary:
With the development of the society, the energy conservation and emission reduction become extremely urgent, due to huge energy consumption and its serious impact consequently on the natural environment.Buildings began to shift from a traditional intensive energy consumption model to a sustainable green building model, and green buildings have gradually become the development trend for construction industry. At present, water and energy conservation renovation projects for existing residential communities have been fully launched on a large-scale base in this country, and the results have been quite remarkable. Most of the existing residential compounds were built before the implementation of the green building concept in our country and are energy-intensive buildings. Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out water and energy conservative renovations for these existing energy-intensive residential compounds. This article summarizes the current technologies and applications related to water and energy conservative renovation for existing residential communities.Taking an existing residential compound in Beijing as an example, starting from the purpose of water and energy conservation,it is carried out in accordance with the requirements of green standards for the existing residential community renovation.A systematical analysis and research were conducted on that to provide a reference for the water and energy conservative renovation of existing residential communities in Beijing. This article first analyzes the building energy consumption and domestic water consumption nationwide, and then analyzes the current situation of building energy consumption and domestic water consumption in Beijing, and identified the existing problems of water and energy consumption with existing residential communities in Beijing.Base on that,by analyzing the application of common water conservation measures such as the use of water conservative appliances, the installation of reclaimed water reuse systems, rainwater recycling and other water conservative renovation technologies,it lays the theoretical foundation for the water conservative renovation of an existing residential compound in Beijing; With the experimental analysis of the thermal insulation effect of phase changing thermal insulation materials, two sets of experiments were carried out.One set of them studied the thermal insulation performance of phase changing energy storage materials, and the other set focused on the simulation research on the application performance of phase changing energy storage materials using in the ground source heat pump buildings.Taking an existing residential district in Beijing as an example, the application research on water and energy conservative renovation technology were carried out,and energy conservation renovation for the existing residential communities regarding the wall, roof, doors and windows, etc.were conducted.A reclaimed water reuse system was designed for the community, the original volume of the reclaimed water reuse system was calculated and a transformation process design was carried out. Finally, the entropy method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method were used to establish an evaluation model for the effect of water and energy conservative renovation for existing residential communities. Then a comprehensive evaluation on the effect of water and energy conservative renovation of an existing residential district in Beijing was carried out on six aspects as of the building and structure, indoor environment, outdoor enclosure structure, economic benefit, environmental benefit and social benefit,to verify that the water and energy conservative renovation of this community is resulted well, and which proves that the water and energy conservative renovation of existing residential communities has good economic and social benefits.
