Study On The Design Of The Activation And Reconstruction Of The Residential Space In The Cave House Of Juewei Mountain Village

Traditional villages carry the local history,culture,traditional skills,humanistic ideas and aesthetics,possessing great research value.Since the21 st century,urbanization has been developing faster as China's economy continuously improved,attracting people's great interest in the rustic rural culture.Accordingly,villages and dwellings have been developed into tourist activity space to experience folk cultures,such as agritainment and homestay.In the process of development,however,there is a contradiction between traditional villages and modern technology,and various factors cause different levels of destruction to the traditional villages and dwellings.Inherit and promote the regional cultures of the villages on the basis of protection,and transform the villages and dwellings into a comfortable space that can not only improve the living standard of the villagers,but also meet the needs of tourists to experience traditional folk customs.This is the practical significance of “activation”.This topic takes the cave dwelling homestay in Juewei Mountain villages as the main research subject,and employs modern design to activate and transform the cave dwelling homestay in Juewei Mountain villages,which not only inherits the regional cultures of traditional dwellings,but also better takes root in the tradition of modern tourist space,motivating the protection consciousness of the indigenous villagers in the cave dwellings,and providing reference for the development and protection of cave dwellings in the future.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the summary of the resource value and cultural customs of Juewei Mountain by means of literature analysis and on-the-spot investigation.In the second part,the representative cave dwellings are selected for in-depth study in accordance with the investigation,analyzing the problems in the existing cave dwellingspace in Juewei Mountain.Thirdly,designing strategies for the reconstruction of cave dwellings are proposed based on the relevant theories of space activation design,including the principles of activation design of cave dwellings in Juewei Mountain villages and some designing methods from the aspects of layout,space,decoration,etc.And in the fourth part,based on the research results of the above three chapters,the field activation design application is provided.From a macro and overall point of view,the old merges with the new,and the new integrates into the old;as for the actual functions,transform functions and reserve the tradition;in terms of cultural continuity,inherit and return to the native cultures;with regard to the open innovation,sustainable development and innovation;with respect to the development and protection,moderate design and coordination.In line with the above theories,the fourth part presents the transformation of the cave dwelling space activation,which proves the research value and significance of this topic.
