Design And Research Of Daily Travel Substitute For The Elderly With Mild Disability

Population aging is a worldwide problem and a commonchallenge for the development of human society.China’s populationaging process is very fast,with a large population and a high degree ofaging.Among them,the elderly with mild disability account for a largeproportion.This part of the elderly are in the stage of transition fromthe middle-aged to the elderly,and the contradiction of complicationscaused by the decline of physical function is gradually prominent.How to help them spend their later life better and improve theirhappiness is a problem that needs to be concerned by the society anddesigners.Travel is an important way for the elderly to maintain their dailyactivities and social contacts.The mentally disabled elderly stillmaintain a strong attribution with the society.However,due tophysiological aging,chronic diseases and other accidental injuries,some obstacles have been caused to the travel demand that could havebeen achieved.Therefore,how to alleviate and help the daily traveldifficulties of the elderly with mild disability through the design oftravel alternative tools,So that the elderly with mild disability cansafely and confidently choose alternative travel tools,experience thefun brought by travel again,and improve the sense of life happiness,Itis the social responsibility that the designer should have.Before the design of step tool,this paper introduces the researchbackground,purpose,ideas and so on.Through literature research,the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly withmild disability,as well as the level of user needs are analyzed.Secondly,the general group information of the target group isanalyzed through the survey method,and the specific travel situationof the target group is summarized through the questionnaire.At thesame time,it analyzes the current situation of domestic and foreignproducts.Have an understanding of the existing market products to better help your design.Finally,based on the concept of ergonomics,accessibility design principles and product design principles,finally,combined with the design points and design elements of preliminaryanalysis and summary,carry out the design practice for the dailytravel of the elderly with mild disability.
