Study On Multifunctional Wheel Chair Desigh Based On The Disabled Elderly

Due to the increasing proportion of the elderly population in China,the aging problem has gradually accelerated,and the demand for the elderly products has gradually increased.Until now,China's high-end multifunctional wheelchairs mainly rely on imports.It is not very appropriate for most old people.On the one hand,the price is so high,most of China's elderly people can not afford,On the other hand,it does not conform to the characteristics and habits of the elderly in terms of structure and function.in China.In this paper,through the research of lifestyle characteristics for disabled elderly,research physiological and psychological factors of the elderly,and the influence factors that disabled elderly people summarize the physiological and psychological problems use the wheelchair,the design of wheelchairs will be more reasonable and more humanized.In the course of the study,we get to know the development status and trend of electric wheelchair for old people at home and abroad in the first place.we begin to investigate the elderly in the form of literature search,field investigation,questionnaire and so on,and we will go to the elderly families and senior apartments so that we can visit,inquire and observe their living conditions,we also research their living habits and behaviors,and the use of existing elderly products.The results show that the living habits of the elderly and the use of the elderly products will be affected in many ways.For example,different physiological conditions and mental states will affect their use of products;different economic situation and life background will affect old people's consumption psychology and consumption habits.At the same time,we can learn about the features of old people's design requirements and design disciplines on elderly products according to the characteristics of the disabled elderly and some emergency situations during they use wheelchairs.Secondly,we study the influence factors of wheelchair design which include physical level and psychological level.We arrive at a conclusion:If we want to make sure that the wheelchair is comfortable,we will study the ergonomics of geriatric wheelchair in depth.In this paper,through the study of ergonomics,we figure out the reasonable size of all parts of the wheelchair.and through the research that the old people are dissatisfied with fuctions of the existing product and they demand for the future design,we know some of the most important functions that older people need.It mainly includes the convenience when you go to toilet and bed,as well as storage,lifting and other functions.Finally,we will design practice,on the basis of investigation of the user population,we located in the lower limb disability of the elderly,and then we will begin to develop the design scheme.At the same time we must consider of the physiological characteristics of disabled elderly so that it will become more and more humanized in the structure and color design.To study the man-machine relationship between the elderly and the wheelchair,Transition from bed to wheelchair,how to design the structure of the wheelchair which can be realized in the wheelchair and solve the practical problems.At the same time,on the basis of reasonable structure,we will study product modeling,color and material.Then design,develop and consummate.Finally,making model and start to produce.
