Green public building design is one of the main contents of green building design because of its large amount and wide range of functions.Energy-saving design is the core issue of green public building design. The spatial layout of public buildings lays a basic pattern for the use of energy consumption.Through the spatial layout design, the rational use of regional climate elements can reduce the energy consumption from the source while meeting the functional requirements. The spatial layout design of green public buildings has strong complexity and comprehensiveness. It is affected by many factors such as climate and function. The design process takes a lot of time to carry out repeated analysis and verification. The introduction of generative design brings new ideas to solve such problems.Through the automatic optimization of the spatial layout, architects can quickly evaluate and compare the solution in the early stage of design, which helps to improve the design quality and efficiency and reduce its cost. The current green public building spatial layout design is based on the relatively accurate quantitative calculation of building performance analysis software. The design practice adopts a method of reducing related design elements or phased design, while comprehensive design system of linkage between design elements still needs to be improved.Aiming at this problem, the special model is limited to the orthogonal grid system in this research.According to the design experience and guiding principles, the evaluations of natural and functional elements are simplified. On this basis,a preliminary exploration of the spatial layout generation of green public buildings constrained by multiple elements is carried out.
