Research On Design Method Of Sustainable Community Based On The Thinking Of Service Design

With the attention to the environmental problems improved all around the world,people's consciousness of environmental protection and the sustainable rising,policy guidance,the power of the folk,and the concept of sustainable development have had an effect in business,education,social innovation,and also developed a series of methods and guidelines,which result in lots of mature sustainable communities.Community is a synthesis of community consciousness and interest structure,a basic miniature of society,and also an important field of sustainable practice.In China,most studies investigated sustainable communities at the technical level and the construction level,which is lack of methods and strategies at the service design level.The service design can promote the restriction effect in a better way at three levels including environment,culture and economy levels and develop communities.Under the double diamond model framework proposed by the Design Council,this study considered about the actual situation of sustainable communities and reviewed the literature of sustainable ideas and service designs in order to get the service process and methods(DDCF Model)for sustainable communities as well as optimize and improve sustainable community service by the systematic design process.This thesis takes P8 sustainable community as the research object,and conducts the researches in terms of DDCF Model including four stages: explored,defined,co-creation and feedback stage.This study used questionnaire analysis,field observation and semi-structured interview to establish service gaps,summarize and define service gaps,to investigate service gaps in particular situations,and to create a design for service gaps.Besides,this study applied service design method with the SDO sustainable design oriented tools for the idea of the solution and evaluation,finally do implementation and follow-up feedback for service design proposal.The innovation of this study aimed to solve the problem about the adaptiveness of the design services in the field of sustainable,discussed and summarized details of the service design procedure,provided valuable suggestions for developing sustainable communities.
