As a commercial street integrating the characteristics of Shengle food,culture and entertainment,Shengle gourmet food street is an important part of the tourism industry in Shengle are,and it plays an important role in attracting tourists and promoting the development of Shengle tourism.Under the influence of Shengle natural and cultural environment,Shengle gourmet food street has formed special ingredients and special cooking methods,and became the concentrated performance of the characteristics of Shengle food.The characteristics of Shengle food is inextricably interwoven with its natural and cultural environment.Shengle is located at the foot of Daqingshan Mountain.It starts from the East of Northern Shanxi,and its West connects Langshan Mountain in the Hetao Area.Besides,it locates in the central part between two mountains and one river-one road,becoming the natural boundary between the grassland nomadic zone in northern China and the farming zone in Central China.With the advantages of various landforms including mountains,rivers and hills,Shengle is an abundant place for the development of grain,forestry and animal husbandry.Shengle area is located in the mid temperate semi-arid continental monsoon climate,which is not only suitable for growth of the North temperate animals and plants,but also becomes the decisive factor of human habitability,agriculture and animal husbandry.Potatoes,naked oats,cattle,sheep,horses and other specific food crops and livestock are produced and natural and pollution-free ingredients for food activities are provided under its special natural conditions,which is the basic condition for the formation of the characteristics of Shengle food.Shengle area has a long history and rich culture.Nomadic economy and farming economyintegrates here,forming farming and nomadic economy and a life style of farming economy as the main body.Shengle food culture also changes in the process of lifestyle change.The food features of nomadic people and farming people are deeply integrated in Shengle area to form the characteristic food with Shengle culture.Shengle catering culture is an integral part of Shengle culture,and also the embodiment of the existing Shengle living culture form in catering culture.To study the characteristics of Shengle food is actually to study the cultural characteristics of Shengle.Shengle area has unique natural conditions and cultural forms,as well as different types of catering to form the characteristics of Shengle food.This special art form is presented in the dining space of the food court,which is very important to carry forward the culture and spread the food.Based on the dining space of Shengle gourmet food street,this paper is aiming at the study on how to deliberate the existing problems under the restriction of the built ancient buildings imitating the Ming and Qing Dynasties,how to reflect the characteristics of Shengle catering culture,and how to change the disordered dining space of and the lack of expression of the cultural characteristics of Shengle food.By putting forward the opinion of “adopt measures suiting local conditions”,it is hoped to make full use of the advantages of Shengle regional resources to study the relationship between Shengle food and regional natural environment and cultural environment.Besides,applying research results to the design of the dinning space of Shengle gourmet food street to form a method to solve the problem that the dinning space of Shengle gourmet food street embodies the characteristics of food,as well as provide a theoretical basis for the design of the dinning space of Shengle gourmet food street.The research method adopted in this paper is to take the idea of “adopt measures suiting local conditions” as the guiding ideology of dinning space design of food court.From the analysis of the natural and cultural environment of Shengle,this paper studies the causes of theformation of Shengle food,analyzes its characteristics such as shape,color,taste and nutritional value,and explores the connection between Shengle food and Shengle nature,culture and folk custom by using the methods of field investigation,comparative research and literature research.Through refining the design concept and design concept image,and by telling stories and other methods to complete the dining space design of Shengle gourmet food street.It is hoped that the dinning space of the food court is characterized by the combination of food and nature,food and culture,so as to realize the all-round experience place of vision,smell,touch and taste.The combination of these three forms the main design line of the dining space of Shengle gourmet food street.
