Since the concept of public transport came into being in the 17 th century,the development of public transport has gradually become the main way to alleviate urban traffic congestion and reduce environmental pollution.Public transport is an important part of the city,which is the basis to ensure the normal operation of all urban systems,and is essential to the economic development of the city and the improvement of people's living standards.With the acceleration of Huhhot's urbanization process and the continuous growth of traffic demand,the city gives priority to the development of public transport.At the same time,there are also some problems in public transport,such as imperfect infrastructure,low quality of operation and service,and poor passenger satisfaction.Based on this,based on the evaluation of the current situation of public transport in Hohhot City,this paper constructs a model to optimize the layout,which has a certain guiding role and reference significance for the development of public transport in Hohhot city.Firstly,this paper reviews the research progress of public transport system at home and abroad,summarizes the concept,composition,classification,advantages and disadvantages,existing problems and solutions of public transport system,as well as the development status of public transport in China.Secondly,the evaluation index system of public transport system in Hohhot city is constructed by using principal component analysis and correlation analysis.It is divided into three evaluation modules: infrastructure conditions,operation service quality and passenger travel satisfaction.Each index is defined and its volume method and evaluation standard are provided.Finally,each evaluation index is determined by entropy method and AHP Through the comprehensive evaluation method,the comprehensive score of public transport system in 2012-2018 is obtained,and the evaluation results are analyzed horizontally and vertically;on this basis,the influence degree of each evaluation index on the development of public transport system is ranked by using the grey correlation model.Finally,according to the evaluation results,the public transport database and road network model of Hohhot city are established by ArcGIS software,and the public transport station,bus line and bus station are optimized by GIS spatial analysis function.Through the above research,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)In 2018,the total score of public transport system in Hohhot city is 66.78,with the overall evaluation result of medium.Among them,68.42 points for infrastructure conditions(evaluation level is medium),59.89 points for operation service quality(evaluation level is poor),and70.21 points for passenger travel satisfaction(evaluation level is medium).(2)In 2018,there are three indicators of poor infrastructure conditions in Huhhot's urban public transport system,namely,line repetition coefficient,line non-linear coefficient and the proportion of harbor type stops;five indicators of poor operation service quality,namely,public transport travel sharing rate,bus vehicles owned by 10000 people,full load rate in peak hours,and average operating speed of buses Degree and average operating speed in peak hours;the indicator of poor passenger satisfaction evaluation results is whether the arrival time of public transport is accurate.(3)During 2012-2018,the overall development level of public transport system in Hohhot City showed an upward trend,from a total score of 57 points in 2012(the evaluation grade was poor)to a total score of 67.9 points in 2018(the evaluation grade was medium),with an average annual growth rate of 2.96%.Among them,the infrastructure conditions increased from 50.6 in 2012(evaluation grade is poor)to 68.4in 2018(evaluation grade is medium),with an average annual growth rate of 5.15%;the operation service quality increased from 49.4 in 2012(evaluation grade is poor)to 60.5 in 2018(evaluation grade is medium),with an average annual growth rate of 3.43%.(4)Based on the evaluation results of public transport system in Hohhot,the evaluation results are optimized by ArcGIS software based on the road network model and GIS public transport database.Firstly,the maximum facility point model and the minimum impedance model are applied to the public transport stations,and then 32 optimal public transport stations are adjusted according to the actual situation.Then,the shortest path of 32 optimal public transport stations is solved to get the main public transport lines,and the auxiliary public transport lines and microcirculation public transport lines are added according to the actual situation.The above public transport lines together constitute the best Finally,2426 bus stops are scientifically arranged on different levels of bus lines according to the relevant specifications.
