Research On Stakeholder Relationships In Off-site Construction Project

The current development of off-site construction in China is still in initial phase,and the industrial ecology and consensus environment that meets the criterions of planning,design,construction management,the production of precast concrete,fiscal and taxation policies for off-site construction have not been formed yet.Stakeholders in the industrial chain have insufficient understanding of off-site construction,lack confidence and the understanding of new upstream and downstream relations.Therefore,there is no integrated development combining industrial design,production,and assembly.Analysis of the stakeholder relationship of the off-site construction project will help stakeholders to break the existing operating pattern,and help the off-site construction to transfer from independent research and development to collaborative innovation,from isolation to interconnection,and from single contracting to win-win cooperation.Firstly,from the perspective of stakeholders in traditional engineering projects,the stakeholders of traditional engineering projects are defined.Based on the differences in the construction process between off-site construction projects and traditional engineering projects,stakeholders in different stages of off-site construction projects are preliminarily identified,and the meanings of the relationships between stakeholders are summarized and explained.Secondly,from the perspective of ecology,the components and hierarchical structure of the stakeholder relationship network are redefined.Based on the natural ecosystem structure,the network ecological structure of the stakeholders in the off-site construction projects is established.Thirdly,taking the case study as research situation,the data of relationship between stakeholders are obtained through social network survey.Software of UCINET is used to analyze the relationship from the aspects of the overall network index and the individual network index.Then taking the core stakeholders obtained by social network analysis as an example,the Lokta-Volterra model of organizational ecology is used to discuss the development of core stakeholders and the stability of relationships.Finally,based on the results of stakeholder relationship analysis,several proposals for development of stakeholders are suggested from aspects of the government and the enterprise,combined with the development of Chinese off-site construction and the strategy of resource separationOn the one hand,analyzing the relationship of stakeholders in off-site construction projects helps stakeholders to understand the industrial chain structure characteristics of off-site construction,improve project management efficiency,reduce the cost of relationship management.On the other hand,suggestions for promoting the development of off-site construction are put forward,which provides reference and guidance for the transformation and upgrading of stakeholders in the process of off-site construction.
