Research On The Network Of Information Exchange Relationshin Among BIM-based Construction Project Stakeholders

Construction project is a complex and integrated system engineering,which has many stakeholders,long life cycle,larger factors and other features.The appearance of BIM has important significance for improving the management efficiency of construction project,it not only provides a complete data model but also an information exchange and sharing platform for project stakeholders.With more than 10 years' development,BIM has been applied to a certain extent in China's construction industry.However,the impact of BIM on the information exchange network of stakeholders in China's construction project is still unknown,which has affects the effective management of the construction project adopting BIM.Therefore,it is necessary to discuss whether the application of BIM technology has caused the change of information exchange network of stakeholders in construction projects,and the structure of information exchange network of stakeholders in construction project with BIM involing.This study will provide a reference for how to effectively manage the construction project based on BIM.SNA mainly includes the whole network analysis and the individual network analysis,the former has been widely used to study the relationship between stakeholders in construction projects,the latter is rarely used in the field of construction projects for its limit function to reveal the structure of network,but can be used to study the social environment around the individual.CSS can be used to research how individual's perceptions of their social networks influence their behaviors.This paper adopts the whole network analysis to study the structure of information exchange network of stakeholders in the construction project based on BIM,identify key stakeholders in the network and reveal the frequency of information exchange among stakeholders;Simultaneously,this paper adopts the individual network companed by CSS to discuss the influence of BIM on the information exchange network of stakeholders.In order to study the information exchange network of stakeholders in construction project based on BIM,the fowlloing research work is executed.Firstly,through the literature analysis of the stakeholders of the construction project,SNA and CSS,BIM and other related content,the paper puts forward the necessity and feasibility of the research on the information exchange network of stakeholders based on BIM.Secondly,through the analysis of the influence of BIM on the exchange process of stakeholders in the construction project from the micro perspective,and the influence of BIM on the structure of the information exchange network from the macro point of view,the research hypothesis is proposed.Thirdly,according to the research purpose and the characteristics of information exchange in the construction project,the network type,components and measurement are determined,at the same time,some index are adjusted.And then the information exchange model of project stakeholders is builded.Fourthly,through expert interview and questionnaire survey,the individual network of information exchange is builded and analyzed for both before and after BIM involing;Through the case analysis to build and analyze the network information exchange relationship of construction project stakeholders based on BIM.At last,summarize the conclusions and look ahead,and put forward the lack of this research.
