Research On Contemporary Memorial Architecture Design Based On Space Experience

Memorial architecture is a special type of architecture,which has the social functions of recording history,inheriting civilization,educating the public,and is the carrier of human spiritual civilization.Its requirements for spiritual function are much higher than other building types.Since the 21 st century,the construction of memorial buildings at home and abroad has been speeding up.In the information age,with the improvement of the public’s aesthetic ability and the emphasis on the spiritual level demand,the design idea of memorial buildings focusing on exhibition information has weakened the appeal of memorial buildings,which has been unable to meet people’s needs.For the design of memorial architecture,we should develop new ideas,and pay attention to space experience is the key to better transfer the spirit and emotion of memorial architecture.Experience is the most direct cognitive way for people and space.The focus on experience is to let the public establish a connection with the building in the process of experience,so that people can have unforgettable feelings in a certain psychological description,and actively understand the spiritual feelings of memorial buildings.Based on this background,this paper analyzes the domestic and foreign practice cases,and studies the memorial architecture design based on space experience in four partsThe first chapter is the introduction of the question.Through the analysis of the existing research results,it summarizes the existing research and summarizes the research content of this paper,including the research background,current situation,purpose and significance,content and methods,and the research framework of the full text.The second and third chapters are the basic research part.The main content is the basic research of memorial architecture and space experience.The second chapter is an overview of the development of memorial architecture,studies the evolution of memorial architecture in China,as well as its basic types,and refines the main tasks of memorial architecture.The third chapter is mainly about the interpretation of the relationship between experience and memorial architecture,the study of the basic theory of experience,the interpretation of the significance of experience for memorial architecture,and the classification of the types of experience,and the analysis of the main types of experience in memorial architecture.The fourth and fifth chapters are the focus of this paper,the part to solve the problem.The fourth chapter is mainly based on the unique characteristics of memorial buildings,summarizes the influencing factors of space experience of memorial buildings-regional environment,theme intention,emotional expression,space narrative.And separately elaborated their characteristic and the type as well as summarizes the design technique behind the experience.The content of the fifth chapter carries on the elements of memorial architecture experience analyzed in the fourth chapter.Firstly,in the process of architectural design,the theme intention,space emotion and narrative of memorial architecture are determined.The second is to consider the aspect of the experiencer to stimulate the effective interaction between the experiencer and the space.Finally,the site conditions are considered to accept the natural elements and create an overall experience atmosphere.The corresponding design strategies are put forward from these three aspects in order to inspire the design practice in the future.The sixth chapter is the practice part,aiming at the actual project cases,in the design process to show the application of some specific strategies.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the conclusion and the experience in the research process.
